Where can i buy christmas lights for about a dollar? My dollar store never has them

Your best bet is Walmart. However, there are other options available. Frequently, there are people that are members of the http://www.PlanetChristmas.com forum that are liquidating their light inventory because they have upgraded to LEDs. Sometimes, you can find a bargain there.

Well, I know the day after christmas they go on sale for a buck, but otherwise I'd keep an eye on the tabloids/store circulers and see when they have their sale

Around Christmas time.... it's not even Thanks giving yet... anyways . walmart has them for like.... 3 dollars... I'm sure you have just 2 more dollars lying around somewhere
