Why would a all-knowing, all-powerful, and perfect God create such an imperfect human race?

What is the point of our existence? What was the reason for our creation?

Hate. Murder. Rape. Theft. Mental/Physical Abuse. Mental Disorders. Non-curable Diseases. Pain. Confusion.

What was Gods purpose in creating a human race if he knew from day one that all of the above would damage us human beings?

I suppose this is one of the many reasons why I have such a difficult time believing that there is a God.

I'd like to read your thoughts & opinions.

If you are religious-please avoid using the "crutch" of God wanting to bestow the human race with the gift of free will. Don't you understand how ridculous such an excuse is?

John 14:6 "Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me."

Could this have been more meaningful in the poetic sense, like Jesus was speaking (being a mouthpiece) for the Truth and the Life?

Like if I said: "I am the wind. I cool you in the summer, yet I can also level great buildings..." I don't mean I'm the wind, of course, but I'm illustrating some truth about it (the wind) by speaking as though I'm it; in a poetic sense.

So maybe Jesus was referring to the nature of the eternal lifestream...that you can only return to God on His Lifestream, only this Way. And the truth: by living a truthful life, free of deception and lies. Or, is this passage to be more literal: Jesus the man, being the only one ever?

Or yet, something beyond all this, even?

Are you ready to start your life with Jesus now ? No I do not expect you to admit it or commit to it in front of your friends here but as a former atheist I do know that Jesus offers a better life.
we're all sinners... we've all goofed up. God wants us to live for him, but none of us has been totally perfect. Ever since Adam sinned in the garden... sin has been passed down from generation to generation. The Bible teaches us that the penalty for sin is death in hell. God saw this, but he didn't create us to send us to hell. God made a plan. The Word of God left heaven, became a man, was born of a virgin so that he would be without sin. He fulfilled many prophecies to prove who he was... and did many miracles that only those with power from God could honestly do to prove who he was... but still this isn't why he came. He came to pay the price for our sins! After 33 perfect years he allowed himself to be sacrificed on a cross outside of Jerusalem... Here was almighty God hanging on a tree and shedding his blood as the penalty for our sins. He did that for YOU! He took on the sins of the whole world, including yours. Paid the penalty on the cross and carried those sins to hell.
3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth, and then God the Father resurrected him to prove that death's price had been paid and that eternal life was granted. The Bible also teaches that God is now offering us a gift called eternal life. He paid for this gift with what Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. Now God offers you this gift, and all that you have to do is receive it. Repent from your sin and turn towards him. Receive him as your lord and savior. Make him your only hope. He loves you, and he made you for a purpose. I urge you to marry your partner (if this partner is of the opposite sex) to honor your Lord... but do it because he is YOUR Lord! Make him yours and give yourself to him today. All that you have to do is believe that he is who he says he is and did what he says he did. Then realize that without it you are lost and it is your only hope. Finally, call on God in the name of Jesus and tell him that you want to receive salvation! I used to be atheist just like some of you but I found a better life. Are you ready to start your life with Jesus now ?
Are you ready to know that you will live FOREVER in a place that is “joy unspeakable and full of glory and not even the half has yet been told ! “

The Bible does not say that abortion is a sin. God commanded his followers to kill and rip open pregnant women (Numbers 31:17, Ezekiel 9:6, Hosea 13:16), and killed millions of pregnant women himself (Flood & Plagues). There are even Biblical instructions on how to abort the pregnancy of a woman who is suspected of being unfaithful (Numbers 5:12-31).

According to the Bible, man became a living soul when the BREATH of life was BREATHED into his nostrils (Genesis 2:7). Fetuses do NOT breathe through their nostrils until after BIRTH. In Biblical times, male babies were not counted as persons until they were a month old, and female babies were not counted at all (Numbers 3:15). The Bible also says that some would be better off if they had never been born (Ecclesiastes 6:3-5, Matthew 26:24).

He broke up with me. He moved 12 hours away and tells me about the women he is dating when he calls - tells me more then I want to know. So I stopped returning his calls because I really don't want to hear anymore and I think he just wants to see if I have moved on and hurt me with his stories. When he calls he does not leave a message. I have thought about blocking his calls because I want to forget him and move on. But just when I start to feel good he will call. Luckily, I have not been home to get the calls. I am under no delusion the man is selfish and does not care for me. So I don't think he is calling because he has had a revelation of love for me. What would you do? Just block his call? I'm not sure confronting him would be a good idea. I am posting in this forum since this is where I usually post.

look at the following Noble Verse from the Noble Quran (The Muslims Holy Scripture): "That they rejected Faith; That they uttered against Mary A grave false charge; That they said (in boast): 'We killed Christ Jesus The son of Mary, The Messenger of Allah.' But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not. Nay, Allah raised him up Unto Himself; and Allah Is Exalted in Power, Wise. And there is none of the people of the book (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (Jesus) Before his death; And on the Day of Judgment He (Jesus) will be a witness Against them. (The Noble Quran, 4:156-159)"
Now compare the Noble Verses to Isaiah 52:13 "...he will be raised and lifted up....". Notice that Isaiah 52:13 did not say "....he will be RESURRECTED and lifted up...." Not even once, did the Old Testament predict for the foretold Servant (Jesus) to be raised to GOD Almighty after death. There absolutely no mention of any sort of resurrection in the Bible's Old Testament what so ever.

Here are few more translations of Isaiah 52:13:

"Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. (From the King James Version Bible, Isaiah 52:13)"

"Lo, My servant doth act wisely, He is high, and hath been lifted up, And hath been very high. (From Young's Literal Translation Bible, Isaiah 52:13)"

"Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted. (From the English Standard Version Bible, Isaiah 52:13)"

"Behold, my servant shall deal prudently; he shall be exalted and be lifted up, and be very high. (From Darby Translation Bible, Isaiah 52:13)"

The text in all of the translations above clearly suggests that Jesus will be honored and lifted up from crucifixion. He will not be humiliated and crucified.

Also, "...he will be raised and lifted up...." seems to suggest that Jesus will be picked up right from the cross, or saved right from the cross by Allah Almighty. "raised and lifted" clearly suggests that Jesus will not die, nor get crucified, but rather be raised and lifted by GOD Almighty to Heavens.

It just seems odd to see both words "raised" and "lifted", and not just one of them, in Isaiah 52:13, and yet think that they agree with the fabricated crucifixion story about Jesus in the NT.

Why did GOD Almighty choose to say "raised" and "lifted" in Isaiah 52:13?

I have a friend who is a very sweet and caring girl, but she has very bad breath and body odor. I have been friends with her 12+ years. I would never dare insult her, or hurt her feelings on purpose. Her feelings are very easily hurt. When I offer her mints or gum, she says no thanks.
Any ideas (please no rudeness)?

We are worried about the kids....but unless the parents are cared for...who cares for the kids? We worry about the elderly...but the adult kids aren't cared for.

Seems to me...a government would put forth the effort to care for those who are bearing the brunt of the burden.

I mean everything, every piece of paper in amedical record, the chart itself. Associates wear a bar coded badge that clocks us in, let's us in doors, pays for our meals, giftshop, etc. So, logically, the next big thing is to chip people with a barcode that accesses all of their medical records. because evrything is or will be going completely electronic. It seems to be paving the way towards soemthing dangerous. Or am I just old fashioned and like paper better?
