The Bible does not say that abortion is a sin. God commanded his followers to kill and rip open pregnant women (Numbers 31:17, Ezekiel 9:6, Hosea 13:16), and killed millions of pregnant women himself (Flood & Plagues). There are even Biblical instructions on how to abort the pregnancy of a woman who is suspected of being unfaithful (Numbers 5:12-31).

According to the Bible, man became a living soul when the BREATH of life was BREATHED into his nostrils (Genesis 2:7). Fetuses do NOT breathe through their nostrils until after BIRTH. In Biblical times, male babies were not counted as persons until they were a month old, and female babies were not counted at all (Numbers 3:15). The Bible also says that some would be better off if they had never been born (Ecclesiastes 6:3-5, Matthew 26:24).

Well, for me it's just the principle of the matter. If you can afford an abortion, you can afford some birth control pills, and a condom.

" All Scripture is inspired ( God breathed ) by God and is useful for teaching the truth , rebuking error , correcting faults , and giving instruction for right living " ( 2 Timothy 3:16 )

Genesis 2:7 , is a pro life argument , breathing in the nostrils is demonstrating the conception , the birthing of the spirit into the flesh , before the birth and because this was the first man , the first human being

" Before I formed you in the womb I knew you , before you were born I set you apart ; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations " - Jeremiah 1:5

God is at work in a person's life while he is in the womb . It's in the Bible , Psalm 139:13-14 - " For you created my inmost being ; You knit me together in my mother's womb . I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made ; Your works are wonderful , I know that full well "

God's commandment forbids the taking of life . It's in the Bible , Exodus 20:13 - " You shall not murder " , so I don't know what and I quote , '' God commanded his followers to kill and rip open pregnant women ( Numbers 31:17 , Ezekiel 9:6 , Hosea 13:16 ) , and killed millions of pregnant women himself ( Flood & Plagues ) , has to do with this , maybe you mixed or you didn't see the intentions and goals , you have to read everything

First of all Numbers is talking about Gentiles , not Jews and it's talking about unholy women or unbelievers :

They waged war against the Midianites, as the LORD had commanded Moses, and killed every male among them.

Besides those slain in battle, they killed the five Midianite kings: Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur and Reba; and they also executed Balaam, son of Beor, with the sword.

But the Israelites kept the women of the Midianites with their little ones as captives, and all their herds and flocks and wealth as spoil, while they set on fire all the towns where they had settled and all their encampments...

When Moses and the priest Eleazar, with all the princes of the community, went outside the camp to meet them,

Moses became angry with the officers of the army, the clan and company commanders, who were returning from combat.

"So you have spared all the women!" he exclaimed.

"Why, they are the very ones who on Balaam's advice prompted the unfaithfulness of the Israelites toward the LORD in the Peor affair, which began the slaughter of the LORD'S community.

Slay, therefore, every male child and every woman who has had intercourse with a man.

But you may spare and keep for yourselves all girls who had no intercourse with a man...

Moreover, you shall stay outside the camp for seven days, and those of you who have slain anyone or touched anyone slain in battle shall purify yourselves on the third and on the seventh day. This applies both to you and to your captives ... ''

Ecclesiasted 6 is talking about being better off , not about abortion -

1 I have seen another evil under the sun, and it weighs heavily on men: 2 God gives a man wealth, possessions and honor, so that he lacks nothing his heart desires, but God does not enable him to enjoy them, and a stranger enjoys them instead. This is meaningless, a grievous evil.

3 A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not receive proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he. 4 It comes without meaning, it departs in darkness, and in darkness its name is shrouded. 5 Though it never saw the sun or knew anything, it has more rest than does that man- 6 even if he lives a thousand years twice over but fails to enjoy his prosperity. Do not all go to the same place?

7 All man's efforts are for his mouth,
yet his appetite is never satisfied.

8 What advantage has a wise man
over a fool?
What does a poor man gain
by knowing how to conduct himself before others?

9 Better what the eye sees
than the roving of the appetite.
This too is meaningless,
a chasing after the wind.

10 Whatever exists has already been named,
and what man is has been known;
no man can contend
with one who is stronger than he.

11 The more the words,
the less the meaning,
and how does that profit anyone?

12 For who knows what is good for a man in life, during the few and meaningless days he passes through like a shadow? Who can tell him what will happen under the sun after he is gone?

Twisting God's Word , so many misinterpretations and right now I don't feel like going into a debate or into full mode , perhaps next time , for more information see source ( see 3 and 4 to see how do we know that the Bible is true and 1 and 2 for Abortion )

Whatever, anything with a heartbeat is alive and if you stop that heartbeat it is murder... And the Bible did say that thou shalt not kill (commit murder)
And who knows exactly what God "commanded"? Maybe some derranged psycho thought it was God commanding him when it was just one of his fancies...The Bible was written by men (not women or God, mind you) and people have used "God" to either kill or not kill... so this isn't credible

Idc what the Bible says about abortion. Abortion is wrong! I can understand if the baby has a serious birth defect or the mother's life is in danger but other than that it's murder.

Most of your references are from the Old Testament. Most Christians use the New Testament to justify their beliefs.

Interesting...although I wouldn't put too much stock in every line of the Bible. All of it is not the word of God.
