Why would a all-knowing, all-powerful, and perfect God create such an imperfect human race?

What is the point of our existence? What was the reason for our creation?

Hate. Murder. Rape. Theft. Mental/Physical Abuse. Mental Disorders. Non-curable Diseases. Pain. Confusion.

What was Gods purpose in creating a human race if he knew from day one that all of the above would damage us human beings?

I suppose this is one of the many reasons why I have such a difficult time believing that there is a God.

I'd like to read your thoughts & opinions.

If you are religious-please avoid using the "crutch" of God wanting to bestow the human race with the gift of free will. Don't you understand how ridculous such an excuse is?

Lack of indisputable evidence shows there is no god.
Hate. Murder. Rape. Theft. Mental/Physical Abuse. Mental Disorders. Non-curable Diseases are things that happen in life.
We created god, not the other way around.

If you have a hard time believing in god it is good thing, remember you have to have indisputable evidence to show something exists

The possibility that there is a god creates an environment where 60 % of the worlds population is encourged to be kind to each other. Then 30 % are the ones who have no clue of a higher power or after-life. (Heaven) and they are the ones who are basically well behaved from the influence of the 60.
6% are true non believers but they try to be nice anyway, and only 4% cause all the trouble in the world.

The mess is due to supernatural factors, which because they can't be seen, men do not readily believe. This is especially hard for Westerners as we have the knowledge of biological evolution from lower animals. So we can easily just think humans are clever animals - born as imperfect creatures due to evolution and doomed to die like other animals.

You agree that the world and men are very unperfect at least. Most people seem to be in total denial of this.

When I believed it was after years of blind following rituals. I encountered the presence of the Holy Spirit of God at an evangelistic mission. So God suddenly became very real to me. Also the Holy Spirit made me aware that our sin does indeed separate us from God, who is absolutely perfect. Then after believing, I came into a new relationship with God, through Jesus' atonement sacrifice opening up a way for me, since then I stand forgiven and God can readily relate to me.

I wish I could understand the supernatural more. I'm currently trying to see in the supernatural, and to have revelations of the heavenlies. This is something that a believer can ask for. Basically I think that Satan and rebel spirit beings called angels managed to corrupt mankind. We can certainly be put right if we put trust in Jesus.

What could you do? examine. You reported you stopped believing after your grandmother's demise. did no longer that strike a chord? cloth loss of any sort will make you lose somethings greater significant - faith in and Love for God. opposite to what human beings permit you already know, faith and Love are greater significant than rational arguments. Rationality would not make a mom love her toddler or a boy recognize the rainbow. All atheists available are so via fact they have had some thing unfavorable take place to them, or they rejoice with satisfying their senses. no one has began becoming an atheist via fact they chanced on the life of God unreal. via fact they are in a position to no longer disprove it. particular, you could no longer disprove Santa the two; yet what if I have been to assert to atheists that the Spanish inquisition in no way occurred? What do you think of the respond may well be? Now think of of the respond everyone believing interior the Holy Quran, Holy Bible or the different Scripture might say? it relatively is the comparable element. BTW : i discover it impressive that one atheist has spoke of as that voice on your head good judgment. while somebody says they heard a voice of their head, atheists label it 'hallucination', possibly if the voice says there is not any God, it by surprise turns into good judgment. Wow, now it relatively is logical!

Adam & Eve were created perfect. Zero defects. Their purpose was to be in charge of all the creatures on the earth, expand the Garden paradise to cover the earth, and have many children to help populate the earth all worshiping the Creator.

An angel with too much pride, decided humans were lower than angels so why should they not worship him. So he convinced them to break their one law. To say they could direct their own lives and by default worship this rebellious angel.

God has allowed this to settle the issue of does God deserve to rule His creations. So far, it is not looking good for human rule as seen by the troubles man has in the above question.

we are created imperfect because our souls are here to learn lessons by dealing with and living the imperfect human life.

he created us out of love. Why do we have children? Because we want to have someone depending on us out of love. You have to include free will in the equation. God does not want us to love him out of fear. But out of respect and devotion. A love caused from fear is an empty love. You would not want your children to love you just because they are your children. God wants to love him because we choose to. He in return will give us the power and Grace of His love.

What Does God Require of Us?

Lesson 4
Who Is the Devil?
Published in 1996
http://www.watchtower.org/e/rq/index.htm...

1. The word "devil" means someone who tells wicked lies about another person. "Satan" means an enemy or an opposer. These are terms given to God's chief enemy. At first, he was a perfect angel in heaven with God. However, he later thought too much of himself and wanted the worship that rightly belongs to God.—Matthew 4:8-10.

Matthew 4:8-10
8 Again the Devil took him along to an unusually high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, 9 and he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”

2. This angel, Satan, spoke to Eve by means of a snake. By telling her lies, he got her to disobey God. Satan thus attacked what is called God's "sovereignty," or position as the Most High. Satan questioned whether God rules in a worthy way and in the best interests of His subjects. Satan also brought into question whether any human would remain loyal to God. By doing this, Satan made himself God's enemy. That is why he came to be called Satan the Devil.—Genesis 3:1-5; Job 1:8-11; Revelation 12:9.

Genesis 3:1-5
1 Now the serpent proved to be the most cautious of all the wild beasts of the field that Jehovah God had made. So it began to say to the woman: “Is it really so that God said YOU must not eat from every tree of the garden?” 2 At this the woman said to the serpent: “Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat. 3 But as for [eating] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘YOU must not eat from it, no, YOU must not touch it that YOU do not die.’” 4 At this the serpent said to the woman: “YOU positively will not die. 5 For God knows that in the very day of YOUR eating from it YOUR eyes are bound to be opened and YOU are bound to be like God, KNOWING good and bad.”

Job 1:8-11
8 And Jehovah went on to say to Satan: “Have you set your heart upon my servant Job, that there is no one like him in the earth, a man blameless and upright, fearing God and turning aside from bad?” 9 At that Satan answered Jehovah and said: “Is it for nothing that Job has feared God? 10 Have not you yourself put up a hedge about him and about his house and about everything that he has all around? The work of his hands you have blessed, and his livestock itself has spread abroad in the earth. 11 But, for a change, thrust out your hand, please, and touch everything he has [and see] whether he will not curse you to your very face.”

Revelation 12:9
9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.

3. Satan tries to trick people into worshiping him. (2 Corinthians 11:3, 14) One way he misleads people is through false religion. If a religion teaches lies about God, it really serves the purpose of Satan. (John 8:44) People who are members of false religions may sincerely believe that they are worshiping the true God. But they are really serving Satan. He is 'the god of this world.'—2 Corinthians 4:4.

2 Corinthians 11:3, 14
3 But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent seduced Eve by its cunning, YOUR minds might be corrupted away from the sincerity and the chastity that are due the Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.

John 8:44
44 YOU are from YOUR father the Devil, and YOU wish to do the desires of YOUR father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie]. (Talking about Satan)

2 Corinthians 4:4
4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.

4. Spiritism is another way Satan brings people under his power. They may call upon spirits to protect them, to harm others, to foretell the future, or to perform miracles. Satan is the wicked force behind all these practices. To please God, we must have nothing to do with spiritism.—Deuteronomy 18:10-12; Acts 19:18, 19.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12
10 There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, 11 or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. 12 For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable things Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you.

Acts 19:18, 19
18 And many of those who had become believers would come and confess and report their practices openly. 19 Indeed, quite a number of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them up before everybody. And they calculated together the prices of them and found them worth fifty thousand pieces of silver.

From the Reasoning from the Scriptures

From where did Satan come?
All of Jehovah's works are perfect; he is not the author of unrighteousness; so he did not create anyone wicked. (Deut. 32:4, Ps. 5:4) The one who became Satan was originally a perfect spirit son of God. When saying that the Devil "did not stand fast in the truth," Jesus indicated that at one time that one was "in the truth." (John 8:44) But, as is true of all of God's intelligent creatures, this spirit son WAS endowed with free will. He abused his freedom of choice, allowed feelings of self-importance to develop in his heart, began to crave worship that belong only to God, and so enticed Adam and Eve to listen to him rather than obey God. Thus by his course of action he made himself Satan, which means "adversary."--James 1:14, 15

Why did not God destroy Satan promptly after he rebelled?

Serious issues were raised by Satan: (1) *THE RIGHTEOUSNESS AND RIGHTFULNESS OF JEHOVAH'S SOVEREIGNTY. Was Jehovah withholding from mankind freedom that would contribute to their happiness? Were mankind's ability to govern their affairs successfully and their continued life truly dependent on their obedience to God? Had Jehovah been dishonest in giving a law that stated that disobedience would lead to their death? (Gen. 2:16, 17; 3:3-5) So, did Jehovah really have the right to rule? (2) THE INTEGRITY OF INTELLIGENT CREATURES TOWARD JEHOVAH. By the deflection of Adam and Eve the question was raised: Did Jehovah's servants really obey him out of love or might ALL of them abandon God and follow the lead being given by Satan? This latter issue was further developed by Satan in the days of Job. (Gen. 3:6; Job 1:8-11;2:3-5; also see Luke 22:31.) These issues could not be settle by merely excuting the rebels.

Not that God needed to prove anything to himself. But so that these issues would never again disrupt the peace and well-being of the universe, Jehovah has allowed ample time for them to be settled beyond all doubt. That Adam and Eve died following disobedience to God became evident in due time. (Gen. 5:5) But more was at issue. So, God has permitted both Satan and humans to try every form of government of their own making. None have brought lasting happiness. God has let mankind go to the limit in pursuing ways of life that ignore His righteous standards. The fruitage speaks for itself. As the Bible truthfully says: "It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step." (Jer. 10:23) At the same time God has given his servants opportunity to prove their loyalty to him by their acts of loving obedience, and this in the face of enticements and persecution instigated by Satan. Jehovah exhorts his servants, saying: "Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me." (Prov. 27:11) Those proving faithfull reap great benefits now and have the prospect of enternal life in perfection. They will use such life in doing the will of Jehovah, whose personality and ways they truly love.

How powerful a figure is Satan in today's world?
Jesus Christ referred to him as being "THE RULER OF THE WORLD," the one whom mankind in general obeys by heeding his urgings to ignore God's requirements. (John 14:30; Eph. 2:2) The Bible also calls him "THE GOD OF THIS SYSTEM OF THINGS," who is honored by the religious practices of people who adhere to this system of things. ---2 Cor. 4:4; 1 Cor. 10:20.

How long will Satan be allowed to mislead mankind?
For evidence that we now live in the last days of Satan's wicked system of things. The provision for relief from Satan's wicked influence is symbolically described in this way: "I saw an angel coming out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. And he hurled him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while." (Rev. 20:1-3) Then What? "The Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur." (Rev. 20:10) What does that mean? Revelation 21:8 answers: "This means the second death." He will be gone forever!

Does God Really Care About Us?
Part 6
Why God Has Permitted Suffering
Published in 1992
http://www.watchtower.org/e/dg/index.htm...

WHAT went wrong? What took place that spoiled the fine start God gave our first parents in the Paradise of Eden? Why, instead of the peace and harmony of Paradise, have wickedness and suffering prevailed for thousands of years?

The reason is that Adam and Eve misused their free will. They lost sight of the fact that they were not created to prosper apart from God and his laws. They decided to become independent of God, thinking that this would improve their lives. So they stepped outside the God-ordained limits of free will.—Genesis, chapter 3

The Issue of Universal Sovereignty

Why did God not just destroy Adam and Eve and start over with another human pair? Because his universal sovereignty, that is, his inalienable right to rule, had been challenged.

The question was: Who has the right to rule, and whose rule is right? His being almighty and the Creator of all creatures gives God the right to rule over them. Since he is all-wise, his rule is best for all creatures. But God's rule had now been challenged. Also, was there something wrong with his creation—man? We will later examine how the question of human integrity is involved.

What Is God’s Purpose for the Earth?

WHY do you enjoy walking in a park or strolling through a field of sweet-smelling flowers? Why is it that your spirits soar when you see a beautiful lake or towering mountains with their peaks in the clouds? Why do you stop to listen as birds sing their cheery songs in the treetops? And why is it so pleasant to watch a graceful deer bounding along or a flock of sheep grazing in a meadow?

There is one answer to all these questions. We were made to live in Paradise! That is where our first parents, Adam and Eve, began their life. We got our desire to live in Paradise from them, and they got it from their Creator, Jehovah God. He knew that we humans would be happy in Paradise because he created us with the qualities needed to enjoy such a wonderful earthly home.
A bird and a butterfly in Paradise

Why did Jehovah create the earth? He “formed it even to be inhabited” by humankind. (Isaiah 45:18) “The Maker of the earth” gave Adam and Eve a beautiful paradise home, the garden of Eden. (Jeremiah 10:12; Genesis 2:7-9, 15, 21, 22) How they must have enjoyed its streams, its flowers, its trees! Graceful birds could be seen in the sky, and animals of various kinds roamed the land—none of them a threat to humans. Fish and other creatures moved about in earth’s clear, clean waters. Best of all, Adam and Eve were together. They could bring forth their kind and expand their Paradise home in joyful association with their growing family.

Although the earth is not a paradise today, it can be compared to the fine home of a happy family. Our God-given global home has what we need—light, heat, water, and food. How we appreciate the sun’s light and heat and the moon’s soft glow at night! (Genesis 1:14-18) In earth’s cellar there are fuels, such as coal and oil, that we can use for heating. Because of the water cycle and earth’s system of rivers, lakes, and seas, we have water. And as a carpet, the earth has green grass.

Just as food may be stored in a home, there is plenty in earth’s pantry. By means of crops in the fields and fruit in the orchards, Jehovah ‘gives us fruitful seasons and fills our hearts with good cheer.’ (Acts 14:16, 17) Since the earth is already such a fine home, imagine what it will be like when “the happy God,” Jehovah, makes it a paradise!—1 Timothy 1:11.

God’s Purpose for the Earth Soon to Be Fulfilled

WHEN Adam and Eve were still in Paradise, they received this God-given mandate: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.”—Genesis 1:28.

Subduing the earth meant more than cultivating or caring for only a small part of it. Adam and Eve and their offspring were to extend Paradise until it covered the whole globe. However, the first human couple sinned and were driven out of the garden of Eden. (Genesis 3:23, 24) But that did not mean that the earth would never be subdued.
