The numbers 3 and 8 were changed from their original Arabic characters around 1800 years ago. This is also interesting: Early Pagans -- fertility cult worshipers were often persecuted for their beliefs-- mainly because they worshipped a femal deity equal to that of a male-- this was anti the existing Patriarchal order. They also recognized the planet Venus-- it is the only star found to date that moves in such a way as to trace a geometric pattern-- the five pointed star... which is interestingly enough, shaped somewhat like our hands. The star moves from morning to evening star every 8 years-- BINGO!! Now we begin to see more clearly the hacker conspiracy. The phases of morning/evening star represent the male/female dual deity... as do the hands... as do the #'s 3 and 8. Remember that 3 and 8 fall on the MIDDLE fingers in the sequential count from baby finger to baby finger. This is a poignant clue as well, and there is a message. Hint: middle is also meridian... Merovingian.

In today's fast paced & hi-tech world, other Catholics would rather do something else than spend an hour to hear Holy Mass. More and more people are becoming too lazy to go to Mass. Others are in the Church but their hearts & minds are somewhere else. Only physically present, but very busy thinking of something else.

Maybe it's because the Holy Mass for some Catholics is just another duty they have to perform. They feel they have no real interaction with the priest. What do you think should be changed in the format of the Holy Mass?

The God loves each and everyone individually. He/She is longing for us to find the one who created them and loves them so much. The God knows everyone desires and dreams and is willing to fulfill your every desire is you simply ask and rely on this God. Is it coincidental or just weird? Everytime I have the dream, it adds on like another part to the dream.

I rarely dream now though and if I do - I can never remember it. Maybe flashbacks of an image in my dream but thats it.
One more year I think and I'll have that dream that continues every 3 years. Kinda strange.

Personality: It is the friends, from all over this little globe I call home.
I could give a rat' a#@ about the points or the thumbs down & violations.
You! Who are about to become my friend, are what is important.
The folks, that can't seem to get a handle on having fun, I feel really really sorry for.

Older women are so practical........

After being married for 44 years, John took a careful look at his wife one day and said, "Honey, 44 years ago we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed, and watched a 10-inch black and white TV- but I got to sleep every night with a hot 25-yr old gal! Now I have a $500,000.00 home, a $45,000.00 car, nice big bed and plasma screen TV.

BUT I'm sleeping with a 65- yr old woman :-( It seems to be that you're not holding up your side of things".

His wife was a very reasonable woman. She told him to go out and find a hot 25-yr old gal, and she would make sure that he would once again be living in a cheap apartment; driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofabed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve your mid life crisis! lol

I have to choose between working at a nursing home looking after the elderly, or a career in Humanitarian Aid. I love to look after people and help people. But at the same time I want to be respected and have a a challenging and intellectually satisfying career. But I love to work with people and I know I will enjoy a career at a nursing home.
What do you have to consider when choosing a career? I want to do what makes me happy, but how do I know which will make me the happiest. I'm in such a mess. I feel like choosing the nursing home, but then I wonder whether I'll be better at humanitarian work.
Please help.

I'm 14, so nothing wicked skimpy. I have no idea what I want to be. If I could, i just wouldnt, but I have to go to 3 halloween parties, so I guess I kind of have to. I'd rather not go and get an actual costume, just because I never like them haha. They're always just too much. Not cost wise, just the way they are. I was thinking maybe just being a cat. wearing all black, with cat ears and a tail, and then doing my makeup to go with it. Any suggestions as to what I should wear if I'm a cat? Or how you think I should do my makeup? Or even my hair. Any suggestions would be nice. Other costume ideas are welcome also :) thanks!

In a recent post, one man said: "Saints is misconstruded by the Catholic church. According to the Bible all true believers in Christ are saints."

I think he, and many people here, don't understand the difference between a saint and a "canonized" saint. When the Church canonizes a saint (as it canonized the Bible), the Church is saying that we know this person is in heaven and they are worthy of veneration: They are a friend of God and behold the face of God. There are billions of saints we don't know about, but we DO know about the canonized ones.
Catholics and protestants suffer from a language barrier. We are not as apart as many think, but we use different terms to describe the same things, and this can lead to unwarranted disagreements.

Is the problem that they are still reacting as they did in the days when their mommies and daddies tried to explain something to them, or were they just coddled in school?
For example, some of America's characteristics were discussed in a question, and the answer was "What racism, what pornograpy, what gun violence? Give me an example!"
I won't tell you what he called me for mentioning these items, but the point is that he didn't even come close to getting the point of the question, so the question was completely wasted
on him. Fortunately, I find that approximately one out of ten Americans understands the question, and it is a real pleasure to get his feedback. What catastrophe happened to the other nine when they should have been growing up and learning to understand the point of a question without retreating into insults and unnecessary self-defense?
