"We believe in one God...the Holy Trinity"...Um let's see that's three isn't it?

Well the trinity concept is certainly a good primer to get you started down the road of the irrational isn't it.

My husband and I were cleaning out our basement so, we decided to sell off some of the more decent stuff for some extra cash. We have never had any problems on Ebay. We always advertise the item as detailed as possible, with photos, etc. We have all good ratings.
Anyways, I had a lot of baby things from my daughters (the youngest is 6 now). I put up a stroller for auction. It originally cost $150 new. It was used for 2 years, the fabric and wheels were in excellent condition. It was stored in my basement though for about 2 years as well. In turn, it developed that musty basement smell.
I didn't feel like putting in the effort of cleaning it. So, I cut my losses and put it on Ebay for $1. I also advertised it as an item coming from the basement that WOULD require cleaning and that we were not responsible for this.
Some lady won the auction (it was up to $5). Then she went on vacation! We were nice enough to hold the item for her for 1 month until she came to pick it up.

i had a friend who was WW2 veteran who is now deceased.
he was a black man and we were very close.he talked to me
alot about things that he didnt talk about with most people.
like events that he witnessed and was part of in the war.
he also talked about how things were in america back then
concerning african-americans and how they were treated as
if they were a lower class of people and didnt have the same
rights and privileges such as their access to certain public
places , restrooms etc.
here was a man who had served his country, risking life and limb everyday fighting for the freedom of others, and yet some
that he had fought for treated him as if he were inferior to
them when he was back in his home country...the same nation and people that he had fought for.

racism is a terrible thing...what are your thoughts?

In the UK we can tell where in the country someone has come from most of the time once they speak, could you tell where someone comes from in the US when they speak, could you tell the difference between someone from say New York and someone from Texas?

If God is fair and the only way to go to heaven is through Jesus, what about those people that are living in small villages like in the amazon jungle. Thousands upon thousands are dying without knowing Jesus. Does that mean they go to hell? Are some people predestined to do so. It does not make sense. Some people live in societies where they are not likely to convert easily to Christianity. They live in societies where that certain religion is their culture (muslim, budhist, etc) They do not get the kind of exposure that (lets say Americans) get. If so that does not seem so fair and there is a flaw in this religion. Can anyone let me know what happens to these people.

I have often said I will start believing in God if He stops by the house sometime. So far all I have gotten was a couple of Witnesses. Perhaps if I kept a couple of God's favorite beers in the fridge, just as a gesture, then God would honor my invite? Any thoughts are welcome.

Those people did not accept Jesus as their savior or believe in him because they had not known of him yet. In that case, how would they have been able to go to heaven? Certainly it would not have been their fault that they did not pray to Jesus or have faith in Jesus since he was not around yet. But doesn't the Bible teach that only people who believe in Jesus will be able to enter the gates of heaven? So how would those people before Jesus have gotten in without ever having known who Jesus was?
