As an Atheist, I found it pretty close to the way I feel when being cursed to hell for my beliefs.

The Guy is a bit condescending, but is there a Christian response that doesn't highlight his points?

Is it an unfair advantage if a person converted because they were part of a miracle or perhaps witnessed something so deeply moving that they would convert. Do you think it is unfair that when the rapture happens that all of the non believers will be witnessing a prophecy first hand, enough to convert them.

And then everyone that never had that special something move them towards Christianity is doomed to an eternity of Hell. You got to admit, you probably have heard of some fundamental non Christians that converted simply because the witnessed something.. Does God play favorites?

I have lived in the midwest all my life and next year I will be moving down south for college. Either North Carolina or South Carolina, depending on which school I get accepted into. Will I be in for a culture shock. Many time I have heard that the northerners are usually the outsiders on campus. Can someone give me some insight?

How many of the people against abortion are also against teaching teenagers about birth control and having sex education in schools, as well as letting homosexuals adopt?

Methinks they're sorta shooting themselves in the foot on this one...

Ozzy Osbourne - Bark At The Moon

Screams break the silence
Waking from the dead of night
Vengence is boiling
He's returned to kill the light
Then when he's found who he's looking for
Listen in awe and you'll hear him

Bark at the moon
Ha ha ha ha ha...

Years spent in torment
Buried in a nameless grave
Now he has risen
Miracles would have to save
Those that the beast is looking for
Listen in awe and you'll hear him

Bark at the moon
Hey yeah, bark at the moon

They cursed and buried him along with shame
And thought his timeless soul had gone, gone
In empty burning hell - unholy one
But he's returned to prove them wrong (so wrong)
Ooh, yeah baby

Howling in shadows
Living in a lunar spell
He finds his heaven
Spewing from the mouth of hell
Those that the beast is looking for
Listen in awe and you'll hear him

Bark at the moon
Hey yeah, bark at the moon
Hey yeah, bark at the moon
Oh Oh yeah, bark at the moon

And once you are convicted, and receive Jesus as your saviour, is it normal for you to get all kinds of blasphemous thoughts about the holy spirit, and anger towards the spirit, and eventually blaspheming it?

And if the person committs this sin, how would they know?

And why is it unforgivable to say the holy spirit is from the devil?

It must be hard, well it is for me, because now that I know theres an unforgivable sin, I get all kinds of blasphemous thoughts towards the lord, and holy spirit, I once had it dwelling, but now my heart feels like its hard and dont really care anymore about salvation... and all I do is mock God now.

I don't know whats going on but the devil has me convinced that he is God, that he owns the holy spirit, etc...

Isnt this similar to the strong delusion at tribulation????????

I'm asking this question to see how easy exactly it is to generalize.

I am a Hong Kong Chinese, and whenever I travel somewhere, people assume I'm a Japanese simply because i don't yell/spit/talk loudly/act uncivilised (funny thing is that i need to make sure they know i'm not Japanese so they won't overcharge me, especially in SE Asian countries :P); or even if i tell them i'm indeed a Chinese, they would ask if i grew up in the states etc.

I'm just wondering if (foreign) people usually see Chinese people as rude, uncivilised barbarians? What would the first thing that comes to mind when you think about Chinese people? (and be honest)

a funny fact is that in Hong Kong, the HK Chinese sometimes look down on mainland Chinese too, thinking their culture as weird and barbarian; but IMO, i don't really appreciate some of the local culture either...what makes them think they're so great anyways...but anyways, I want to know what the others would think about Chinese.

Here is the correct answer to this one. Many Christian vs. Atheist arguments always go to proving that there is or isn't a God.

I have the proof that there is no God. That proof is simply for the fact that nobody can prove anything about God. How can you have an argument about something that you have no proof over? Until then the best answer to this one when a Christian tells you to prove that their is no God always answer with, "until you have the proof that there is a God then he doesn't exist."

Lets end this ridiculous argument now; no proof = no existence.

Why do so many black men worship and lust after non-black women or black women that look mixed?
Especially dark skin men!! Look at the our so called network nothing but non-black women and light skin women on the shows. All the videos have only European looking black women with long "good hair", light skin and light eyes. Is that the only thing that is beautiful to many black men? Our women are BEAUTIFUL in all shades and ALL hair types so stop being so brainwashed and stupid!!!

Does it drive you crazy that Dancing with the Stars has a large gay following, but makes subtle fun of males who like it as being gay? It happens on the show a lot, and the Jimmy Kimmel's follow up of the show, on his late night abc program, is pretty openly homophobic about the show while supposedly promoting it as well. Do you think they will eventually get same sex couples or transgender contestants, or gay-identified stars ever? New Zealand's version had a transgender contestant. Also, do you think if they had an openly gay celebrity, they'd still put them with an opposite sex partner?

I'm sure I've lost many things that, at the time, meant a lot to me. The one thing that always stands out is a ring my dad made for my mom one year - it was made of nickle material, and there was a heart at the center with curved lines on either side. Mom gave it to me when I was 16. One day, in my car in the winter, I took off my jewelry to put some lotion on. Never saw the ring again - I tore the car apart, I searched around the car. It just vanished. The fact that my dad made it is what was special to me. Did you ever lose anything precious to you?

So before I go to bed, I'll leave you all with this: Beautiful and one of my best. How would you like somone to be able to say things like this to you. I'd love it! You all know it well.

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death."

by Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)
Gee I am a silly old romantic at heart. G'nite all. Be dropping in tomorrow.
