I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved.
...and how does it apply to this ...

Protestants defend the whole sola fide thing with a number of passages. I believe Jesus died for my sins and that I coundnt do it for myself through good works.

So are good works evidence of a changed life or do they contribute. Jesus does mention differing rewards in heaven.

Im just confused about some of the verses like "a gift from god so no man can boast"

Now I know it will fall on deaf ears but I really dont need to hear from a load of undeducated anti-catholic knuckleheads (but I know I will)

I don't have any intensions on doing this and I do not even think about it as it revolting.
But it has came to my attension that necrophiilia is not mentioned in the Bible. There is no punishement for this either.
So does this mean you are allowed to do this in the eyes of God? As he has not mentioned it as being a sin.
As I said this is repulsive subject matter and do not or wish to partake in this activity.
Please do not take offence to this question, I would like to see what you think about this?
Is this proof that God is not perfect like most people think?

I am a beautiful,sincere and faithful boy.
Is there anybody to get relationship with me?I live in Albania.I am 24 years old.I'd like to live sweet emotions with a boy who plays the man.You must be above 25 until 50 years old.
No one touched my body.I've never had sexual relation between a boy.
Sometimes I try to lose myself in dreams, remembering better times...but suddenly I wake up and all I feel seems to me like a rainy day or like in needles and pins.
Psychologists say me that true love does not exist for gays. But I think they're wrong.
True love is like the sun.It is very hot, big. It warms our hearts and makes us happy, but on the other side it hurts and burns deeply, just like the sun.
And then?Which is logical conclusion?
True love exist for everyone like the sun that rises for everyone.
So,without sun (love) no one could live.
Now I'm searching for true love.

The Preacher at the Church I attend preaches that after all of the true believers are taken up to Heaven, there is going to be a time of Tribulation. and during this time it will be possible for those who haven't accepted Christ to get saved and go to heaven. but at the same time he preaches that all of those who have died in the past were either sent to Heaven or sent to Hell. this doesn't make sense to me. why would god give some a second chance and not give others a second chance?

In 999 everyone said the end of the world happen in 1000. Then in 1999 everyone said the end of the world would happen in 2000. Today everyone says 2012 is the real year end acording to some mayan calendar or something.

Ok my question is why 2012 whats soo special about this number cos unlike the others it wasnt the end of a millenium and how come 2012 wasnt mentioned before like back in 2003 or something.?

Also why is it people have this obessesion with the world ending? and every few years there is always a supposed year for the world to end but each time that year comes up nothing happens yet time after time people beleive this stuff

He keeps parking in my spot. I work in the front office, he works back in shipping. I have parked in the same place for a year and a half. He started to take my spot last week and I have asked him nicely two times to not park in my spot, his response was that there are no names on spots. I am going to let the air out of his tires by the end of the day if he doesn't move!!!!!! He has been asked by his supervisor to park somewhere else. When I got to work this morning, there he was again! IN MY SPOT! How to I deal with this situation?

I know that Catholicism does accept it now, although they opposed it in the past. I've been told by a member that the LDS Church opposes evolution, and I know the Church of Christ and most or all Baptists reject evolution. But what about Lutherans, Methodists, Episcopalians, et al.?

I respect everyones views..I love to learn from every walk in life. It seems to me that's what we are all responding to...our walk through life and our reaction to that walk or experience. Some get involved in a religious group because their family has always done so...when they hear a negative remark about their group they feel this on a personal level...it feels like an attack on their family. In some family they have no affilation yet feel attacked when someone tells them to join them...or else!

When you hear someone say: IF you don't join me in my belief or disbelief...well then your an idiot.

Doesn't that say more about that person than does their beliefs or disbeliefs?

I read that Mother Teresa said this: Preach the Gospel EVERYWHERE...but only use words when necessary..

Can we learn in peace & acceptance of each other?

Your thoughts?

The Bible is clear — Hell is inside the earth!

Ephesians 4:9, says of Jesus: "Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH."

On page 85 of Beyond Death’s Door, Dr. Rawlings writes patients who described hell said, ". . . this place seems to be UNDERGROUND or WITHIN THE EARTH in some way."
Scientist and Bible teacher, Henry Morris also agrees the Bible plainly teaches that hell is in this earth:

"So far as we can tell from Scripture, the present hell, is somewhere in the heart of the earth itself. It is also called 'the pit' (Isa. 14:9, 15: Ezek. 32:18-21) and 'the abyss' (Rev. 9:2). . .
The writers certainly themselves believed hell to be real and geographically 'beneath' the earth's surface. . .
To say this is not scientific is to assume science knows much more about the earth's interior than is actually the case. The great 'pit' [hell] would only need to be about 100 miles or less in diameter to contain, with much room to spare, all the forty billion or so people who have ever lived, assuming their 'spiritual' bodies are the same size as their physical bodies."
(Henry M. Morris, The Bible Has the Answer, p. 220)
The Birmingham News, April 10, 1987 had an article entitled "Earth's Center Hotter Than Sun's Surface, Scientists Say". The article stated that scientists have recently discovered, "THE EARTH'S INNER CORE HAS A TEMPERATURE OF OVER 12,000 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT!"

Have you seen pictures of a volcano erupting, spewing a lake of fire from inside the earth — consuming everything within miles just from the heat? When Mount St. Helens erupted in May 18, 1980, it was described by reporters, "when HELL surfaced upon the earth." The book, Volcanoes, Earth's Awakening (p.91) describes an erupting volcano as "descent into HELL".

Thousands of years ago, the Bible described a place called hell in the heart of the earth that matches exactly what science is discovering.

YES! THERE IS A PLACE CALLED HELL!

In Numbers 16, the Bible gives the account of people falling into hell alive!

"And THE EARTH OPENED HER MOUTH, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive INTO THE PIT, and the EARTH CLOSED UPON THEM:" Numbers 16:32-33
Caspar Peucer, a famous fourteenth century astronomer and physician, who also researched and documented the volcanoe eruptions at Heklafell wrote some very frightening information in his research findings. Peucer, claims (as others) that "fearful howlings, weeping and gnashing of teeth" could be heard "for many miles. . ." as these volcanoes erupted:

"Out of the bottomless abyss of Heklafell, or rather out of Hell itself, rise melancholy cries and loud wailings, so that these can be heard for many miles around. . . there may be heard in the mountain fearful howlings, weeping and gnashing of teeth."
(Haraldur Sigurdsson, Melting the Earth, The History of Ideas on Volcanic Eruptions, p. 73)
And Caspar Peucer is not alone. There are others who believe they have heard "cries and screaming" coming from volcanoes. Most have tried to ignore the obvious. Some simply explain the "sounds of hell" to some rational meaning. But they are there. . .
"The fearsome noises that issued from some of their volcanoes were certainly thought to be the screams of tormented souls in the fires of hell below".
(Haraldur Sigurdsson, Melting the Earth, The History of Ideas on Volcanic Eruptions, p. 73)
Inside this earth, this very moment, there are millions of lost, tormented souls — burning, weeping, wailing — without any hope whatsoever!

being raised atheist, i knew as a child that since i didn't believe in or obey god i would go to hell. it didn't matter to me since i didn't believe in hell either.

but, i've read in here countless times that christians don't tell kids that they'll go to hell for not believing or obeying. yet, those same christians will confirm that you do indeed go to hell for these things.

so i'm confused. who's telling kids this? is it atheists who are telling non christian children that they'll go to hell for not believing in god?
