2012 is sometimes claimed to be a great year of Spiritual transformation (or apocalypse).
Many esoteric sources interpret the completion of the thirteenth B'ak'tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calendar (which occurs on December 21 by the most widely held correlation) to mean there will be a major change in world order.
It should be noted at this point that December 21 2012 is not just another end-time prediction. This date marks a moment in time that has been foreseen and foretold by a variety of ancient cultures throughout the world, each without knowledge of the other. In addition and at the very same time, we will be witnesses to not one, but two astronomical events that have not taken place for 26,000 years. Many believe that absolutely nothing will happen on this date. Other see this as the coming of the end of the world, and still other believe that we are in for some sort of physiological change. Never the less, there is absolutely no doubt that something is on our horizon, and it is up to each and every person to decide for themselves what they believe. I encourage you to continue to learn as much as you can about this subject and visit www.December212012.com often for the latest news and video updates about December 21 2012.
Love & Blessings

It's not the end of the Mayan calendar either. Baktun 12 of the Long Count is ending and Baktun 13 is beginning (on 12-21-2012) and for some reason everyone thinks that means the whole calendar is ending and therefore the world is ending. It's not. The calendar can go up to Baktun 19 and at the end of that, it goes to Pictun 1. (A Baktun is around 400 years, and a Pictun is 20 Baktuns.)
As far as why everyone likes to talk about the world ending, some people have boring little lives. They crave drama. Worrying about the world ending, spreading fear about it ending, and getting all excited about it makes them happy for some reason.

According to their calendar, the Maya believed that their world would end on Dec 21, 2012.
For one reason or another this date seems to be - well, it seems people are taking it much more seriously than other *prophesies* of doom.
Maybe because most every other thing (if not every other thing) they predicted has come to pass.
Or, it coincides with a global magnetic polar shift?
Combine that with the *Dooms Day Clock* being set closer to midnight (doom time) than ever before?
Read the news and you don’t see much hope for a future globally either.
I believe it’s a bit of all of it.
Hope it isn’t true.
Pray no matter what you think - it wont hurt anyone.

there is truly not something specific approximately them they're in basic terms a trend... theyre high priced because of the fact theyre made out of sheepskin, and that they are heat. You cant truly purchase uggs for that value of fifty or greater much less costly, yet you may purchase fuggs, that are different boots that are comparable, or purely like them yet not the ugg form<3 i definately choose fuggs- well worth your funds, purely as gorgeous, and a few even cuter
