Like im almost 16 and i drive alone sometimes and there are these old men always whistleing at me and honking there horn and stuff...these men are like 35 to like 50
ive even had one ask me on a date and some plain just ask to ****

I get honked at all the time when walking down the street...even when I'm pushing my son in his stroller. I don't get it, either. Has one man EVER gotten laid doing that?

Men aren't pigs. Here's a couple of things to notice: how many men are around that don't honk, whistle or hit on you? After this happens look at you're dressed in the mirror, if it's a really cute outfit that shows a lot of skin, you need to realize that for older generations it's like saying "I'm up for sex" and not just a fashion statement.
Granted, I'm a 46 year old that likes to watch young women, mature women - ok, I just like women in general, but I rarely notice anyone honking, whistling etc, at them.

By the time you're 21 (like me), you'll have learned to ignore it. I totally agree with what you're saying because it happens to me all the time too. The best thing you can do is face forward at all times and when they REALLY try to get your attention, turn your radio up. The way I look at it, if they want to get into a wreck just to get my attention, that's THEIR stupidity.
Also, it gets worse when you hit 18 and start going to clubs. I've had guys old enough to be my grandfather ask me to dance before! And trust me, if they're drunk and you say "No", they will not leave you alone. I've had to get rude and get bouncers.
It's absolutely digusting the way these men prey on young girls like that. You'd think they'd look in the mirror or on their driver's licence every once in a while and think "Hey, I shouldn't do that. I'm older now and I should act like an ADULT". I guess it goes back to that whole thing about boys being boys.

I'm not sure where you live, but some places older people are impolite, they might just be doing that to show off to their friends, or to be funny, or maybe your just really attractive and look 20 instead of 16 next time somone does somthing ask them to stop, and tell them your age, if they keep it up, you can go to the police for sexual harrasment. Be careful out there child. Men can be the biggest hounds and try to stay out of there way. Be aware of your surroundings prior to getting in the car and while driving. Its hard being an attractive girl. But there are things you have to learn to deal with and responsibilties come with driving. Dont follow anyone and don't allow them to follow you. Older guys are the worst usually, they think that young girls are easy targets and they wanna hit. You get it? Be careful and stay away from driving alone at nite.

I agree. It's gross.
Just wait until you start dating - when you are in your 20s older men will hit on you all the time.
I'm pushing 50. When I was in college, older guys kept trying to steal my girlfriends. I vowed never to do that when I got old!
Enjoy your youth. I have far more in common with people my own age.
Many men ARE pigs. They should know better, but don't. They don't realize how threatening it can be to catcall. So be careful.

Would you prefer to be ignored? You must be very attractive or they just would not bother. At the same time I am not saying putup with such as some are just plain insults. Some 16 year old girls actually marry men in this age group.

Although you can't believe it now, there will come a time when you miss that. It's a fact of life that attractive women always get this kind of attention. Just ignore it, and learn to be firm when somebody crosses the line. And we're not all pigs. Just most of us ;-)

They can't help it, it's in their nature sometimes. I live with 3 guys and sometimes it's like a locker room around here. The best you can do is just to rise above it and try to ignore it.
BTW, 35-50 is not old:)

Men often need younger women to "make" them feel vital and young. They tend to hit extreme mid-life crisis, and need a fast sports car and a young girl at their side to pamper their ego. Some say it is a man's goal to simply try to sow as many oats to keep his genes afloat.That it's deeply embedded in man since the beginning of mankind. Either way, it makes for a disgusting meat market!

That is a question that we all want to know dont we. Not all men are like that. These men would be classified as pedophiles. If they harass you trust me you should report them. They could harm a small child. You know better to stay away but a younger girl may not.
What is wrong with you other women on this site? Do you all think its ok for a middle aged and senior man to whistle at your child? Give me a damn break ..sick
