I always stand for God. No one around me is more important than the Lord. Where the Lord isn't invited, I wouldn't darken the door. Nothing or no one is more important than Jesus the Christ my Savior.

When it comes to God you should never compromise a damn thing. You don't have to preach to everybody (that can do more harm than good, meaning that it can turn people off to the Word) but if someone asks you something about God, Jesus etc. you must be honest.
I guess what I am trying to say is that you shouldn't compromise God for anyone

Is it a matter of compromising, or just considering other people and their own beliefs? I live in Japan where there are very few Christians. I make a point of simply living what I believe, hardly saying anything about what I believe, as I don't want to shove my faith down people's throats.
And then my British friends are all atheists, and at one point I had to listen to a lot of swearing! They knew I'm Christian, though, so without me saying anything one of them one day apologised and stopped swearing in my company. I really appreciated that.

NEVER....God fights 4 me, and I am determined 2 fight 4 HIM!
If all I can do is stand b4 HIS people and be a living witness of His word.....I must do it wholeheartedly-not wavering in the things of God-but standing 4 righteousness! The Bible says, "A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways."
It gets hard. Sometimes the enemy comes to distract and denounce the power of God in our lives...but if 1 of us don't declare what is good, holy and acceptable to God...who will????

Interesting question. I don't generally find I have to compromise God for any reason. Maybe that term is so general, that I'm not understanding what you mean.
I work with Christians and atheists. Everybody respects everybody else and we get along fine. My friends are mostly atheists, agnostics, or just generic non-believers. We get along great too.

In this day and age it's more important than ever to take a strong stand. Also, you might want to consider captilizalizing God.
