I have a serious question about the story of Noah's ark.

See i live near a freshwater lake, and i know that freshwater fish cannot survive in saltwater at all.

if the world flooded as described by the holy bible and the story of Noah's Ark, how then did Noah save the lives of all the freshwater fish? If the world had a global flood all of the salt would mix into lakes and rivers and wipe out all of the fish. Wouldn't they all go extinct?

If not, I would like to be the first to propose the notion that there is no God based on this lack of simple evidence.

How do you say "suck" in German? Not like "suck on your thumb", like "I suck at Math?" I want it to be as slangy as possible.

Some Christians call it "bashing" Christian dogma, but should we leave them to believe things like Exodus 35:2...........WHOEVER DOES ANY WORK ON (THE SABBATH) MUST BE PUT TO DEATH. Or should we remind them that they are taking a hypocritical approach to the Commandments if they ignore "Thou Shalt Not Kill (Murder), and kill in war, execute criminals, keep a gun in the house to kill burglars (murder if the criminal only intended to rob).
I am not judging whether killing is right or wrong, just pointing out that Christians who claim the Bible is right should be following what they preach, not being mass hypocrites.

I'm angry God is allowing me to go through this. I am financially ruined, divorcing, reputation ruined, I feel like I am fighting for my sanity. I am having a mental breakdown. People seem to use me and use things against me. It just seems like from all areas of my life, I am going through. People at my church are judging me. I am struggling with trying to cope with everyday people. I am serious when I say that I sense the standoffish behavior of people when I go out of my way to be nice and present a positive attitude. Is God testing me or am I just paying for things in my past? I repented and gave my life back to God and since then things have gotten worse, not better. Im praying every chance I get but I still am experiencing anger and rage in my heart. What do I do?

I have a question about people who believe we need works for our salvation. The way I have always seen it is this. Christ paid the price for us. The price was so great there was no way we could afford it. Imagine the price as a pile of coins. The pile of coins would be bigger than the Earth. If we try to add to this by our works it is like flipping 1 penny onto the pile. It makes no difference. Our works can never be even close to enough. They do not even make the smallest dent in the debt we owed. Do you agree?

Please do not quote me verses from James. I know what he has to say. I do not deny we will have works. I just disagree with works saving us.

I have a serious creationism vs. evolution question. I've only seen one partial answer to this on the Yahoo questions site.
I have no argument with the belief that God Himself designed human beings - let's accept that as a given, for this question.
My question is: why couldn't God have used evolution as the tool to achieve this result?
The only answer I've seen to that is the time - according to Genesis, God created humans in less than a week, instead of billions of years.
Is the Genesis timetable indeed the reason evolution is decried? I'd appreciate responses from some thoughtful, devout, believers.

Someone once said that "The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians,,,,, who acknowledge Jesus with their lips then walk out the door and deny him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable."

Do you agree/disagree and why?

Every day? Every week? Every month? Or only when you feel like, and then you just pick it up and open it randomly? Only in the church?

Do you search for what you want or you read only what the pastor tells you to read?
