judging from the level of derision and mockery i see in this forum, i'd say we're almost there. this does NOT mean however, that i think christianity will be bidding us a fond adieu anytime soon. on the contrary, i believe we must step up our efforts and take advantage of the headway we are making. keep up the good work! keep pointing out the facts, evidence , contradictions, impossibilities, outright fabrications and paradoxes that make christianity such an easy target for dismissal.

Ephesians 2:22
" In whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in spirit"

Expound on this verse for me please.
Its a very deep verse in the bible related to the Church. Ephesians is a book on the Church in 6 aspects. One aspect for each chapter.
Please use any other references to strengthen your points.

Ty for the Labour of Love.
May others be encouraged by your input...

It's an essay on current problems in South Asia and it can be either social, political, religious, intellectual, or cultural. But it has to focus on one of those only. I'm going to have to write a 2.5 - 3 page essay on this so it's not just a quick summary of an article.

So what's a broad current topic?

To start things off, I am a Christian and I love the Lord. I also have a great sense of humor, and I am a little saddened that a few of my fellow Christians couldn't see the humor in the question I asked earlier. So much of the time this forum gets pretty "tough", and I don't know why there can't be a little "light-hearted" humor once in a while. I didn't "bash" Christianity, or for that matter any faith at all. What is wrong with seeing the "lighter" side of each of our RELIGIONS or non religions. Religion is not whether or not you believe in God. Loving God and believing in Him is. So for my fellow Christians whom I have offended, all I can say is, read the questions again. I in no way mocked God or my faith. Keep in mind, that if you truely love the Lord, you will remember that it is God who gave us humor after all. Remember, He's got one too.

On Earth, there are approximately 4,500 species of mammals, 2,500 species of amphibians, and 1,700 species of rodents.

(Not counting birds, fish, or reptiles! If my calculations are correct..)

It would add up to 8,700. But we have to double it for pairs, which would be 17,400 mammals!

So how did Noah fit 17,400 mammals onto his ark?
Wouldn't it sink? How would he provide food for all of them..for 40 days? Where would he get food? How would the penguins survive? How was he able to put 17,400 mammals back into their own natural habitats? By science, it has been proven illogical, various, various, various number of times. The only logical explanation is that it never happened.

I have to interview Jezebel and the whole point of the project is to prove that humans deserve eternal life. Do you have any points that I could bring up or arguments for jezebel that would prove that we should have a chance at eternal life?

With all the confusion about religion today, do you see religion as sometimes being a big mess to wade through in order to find the truth? Don't you just wish we could get back to the way Jesus worshiped? To a way that God would find pleasing? Have you ever walked in a church and found "dead religion"? What do you say, Christian?

I was watching a short video clip and it just dawn on me a concept that somehow set my mind into a state of unrest but at the same time it tranquillised me. The thought went more or less like this: I've been worried about material things, human creations of all kinds, I mean human art, cultural products, everything. It's not that I've been worried all the time about this but I always valued those kind of things and deeply regretted their disappearance out of decay, demolition by stupid fanatics, etc. Now, when you think of it all, everything that is, was and will be already existed and will exist in the prototype of creation so nothing is really lost. Everything is rebuilt, we start all over again, or least we have the chance to. So no material thing is that important, actually. It is us who evolve, who are constantly changing and things just accompany us on our journey during our material lives. I don't know if I've made myself clear enough, please tell me if I haven't. Am I right?

your dentures or partial? When I first got my sweet little Sadie,
my shih-tzu, I had just gotten a partial. It was very expensive and was a special type that couldn't be detected in my mouth. I wasn't used to it yet so took it out and put it on the table.
My daughter was over visiting and at some point we both fell alseep watching TV. When we woke up I heard little Sadie under the coffe table chewing on one of her toys......when to my horror she looked up at me with my teeth in her mouth. They were chewed to pieces. I wanted to cry but we couldn't stop laughing at Sadie with the extra teeth sticking out of her little puppy mouth.

Contrast the following...

"Hope so" salvation:

23Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
