your dentures or partial? When I first got my sweet little Sadie,
my shih-tzu, I had just gotten a partial. It was very expensive and was a special type that couldn't be detected in my mouth. I wasn't used to it yet so took it out and put it on the table.
My daughter was over visiting and at some point we both fell alseep watching TV. When we woke up I heard little Sadie under the coffe table chewing on one of her toys......when to my horror she looked up at me with my teeth in her mouth. They were chewed to pieces. I wanted to cry but we couldn't stop laughing at Sadie with the extra teeth sticking out of her little puppy mouth.

That is so funny! My friend and I got our puppies at the same time since they were sisters. Marie's dog is named Kita. Kita had double canine teeth so they had to be pulled.otherwise her adult teeth would not come in Marie just got a bottom partial plate and if you ever had one, they are hard to keep in. he put them down on the coffee table and left them there for a bit. When she went to look for the Kita had them in her mouth. It was so funny to see this little 3 lb Chihuahua with big human teeth in her mount! Marie's till hasn't replaced "Kita's" borrowed teeth as yet.

I still have all my own teeth but I had to have a mouth guard made because I clench my teeth together and it causes pain in my jaw. I keep it in my bedside table in a container. One night I went to get it and it was missing! We must have searched every nook and cranny in the house and couldn't find it. I concluded that my little grandaughter must have flushed it down the toilet or tossed it in the garbage. About six months later my husband was looking through the magazine rack in the corner of the room when there it was at the bottom. I have a habit of taking it out in the middle of the night and throwing it ,but it usually lands on the table . I try not to do that anymore.

I have a Shih Tzu and the same thing happened to me when my Chewy was a puppy. I caught her in time though before she damaged anything. She's 6 years old now and never does anything wrong. She's hiding from the thunder right now. One time I went to the "Pumpkin Farm" and took her with me. That's a place where they have lots of pumpkins for kids, face painting and animals. Chewy was about 3 months old. I was talking with my friend and looked down at her and noticed she was eating something. I said, "Chewy, What you got??" She looked up at me with an innocent look on her face with GREEN slimy goat poop running from her mouth. She doesn't do THAT anymore either.

My puppy once grabbed my brand new glasses off of the table and popped the lens out and chewed it up -- all in about 5 seconds when I went in the other room. It wasn't glass so she wasn't hurt but my glasses had to have a new lens.

Once, after working the night shift, I put my partials (front teeth) in the garbage. Good thing I was going out and discovered it before putting the garbage in the incinerator.

You should have had a camera handy. It must have been pretty funny to see your little puppy with human teeth.

So far I have all my own teeth. But someday I will have to replace the Ivory's with porcelain.
