With all the confusion about religion today, do you see religion as sometimes being a big mess to wade through in order to find the truth? Don't you just wish we could get back to the way Jesus worshiped? To a way that God would find pleasing? Have you ever walked in a church and found "dead religion"? What do you say, Christian?

All the time but you just have to keep on keepin' on. It's a daily, continual, growing, learning and changing process. It took me five years to find a church when I first moved here. You know, as soon as Christ died, heretical sects began popping up all over. That's why we have to be led by the Holy Spirit and learn to hear His voice. I like the way D. James Kennedy describes the church. He says there is the visible church
( all tose who profess Christianity) and the invisible church that is within the visible church. They are the ones who have truly made Jesus the LORD of their lives and have a regenerate heart. Sometimes you can't tell the two apart and the Bible says the wheat will grow up with the tares and God will sort them out in the end. That is another reason that people need not look to other people for their faith. The only one we need to look to is the ONE who bore our sins on the cross.

P.S. If you lived here, we could go to church together. We'd have a great time.
God bless!!

Once, I had a neighbor that was very religious, bible studies at the house every other day, painting religiours pictures as hoppy, spending much free time in church affiars. She served god in all the ways anyone possibly could. Her whole life revolved around her religion ever since she could speak.

Then, one day, she had need to ask god for a favor and she prayed to him for it. After all, all god had to do was lift a finger or something. The favor was not granted. Now she is an agnostic and no longer part of that religion. She now feels that she is no longer confused about life.

What's to search for? I have what I want to know in the Bible, and it tells me plenty along with the Holy Spirit. So I don't need to look around for 'pure forms of worship', Jesus told us what to do plain enough.

To right this moment Jews rejoice the Lords day beginning at sunset on Friday nighttime by using Saturday. a while after the Resurrection Christians desperate that the concentration would desire to be on the resurrection of Christ and so Christians honour the lords day on Sunday. they're in actuality 2 distinctive celebrations. in the only case we celebrated Gods creation on the final day of the week and in the different case we rejoice the Resurrection of Christ. wish this helps. would God Bless you in the call of Jesus.

i have walked into churches and found dead religion. faith without works is dead. so if the people in the church aren't living what they are saying and reading then it is dead. this is why it took me a year to find a proper church.
