athiest are always saying Christians are unloving, but for the real Christian we just want you to know there is a God and we dont want you to go to hell.I Do apologize for the ones who tell people that they are going to hell, but I WILL TELL YOUTHIS, if you dont repent ,you will go to hell ,sorry if this hurts anyones feelings ,but it is the truth.And YES SOME of us get a little over zealous and say things the wrong way ,but you cant blame them for trying to tell you what they know is true. BUT you athiest cant talk ,YOU MOCK GOD with every breath.At least the Christians are trying to help you. What is your reason for being so mean to us and MOST IMPORTANT......to GOD?

We were actually created as a resulted of an interplanetary bet. The top scientists of Jupiter,Mars and Saturn- Jup-Jup ,Marza and Satuacia-decided to have a contest to see who could make the dominant species. Jup-Jup invented the reptiles, Marza invented the mammals, and Satuacia invented plants and microorganisms. As part of the agreement, they had to stay on a new planet, a planet who's environment could give all these creatures equal chances. On the rocket pods (what you incorrectly refer to as comets), there were some technical difficulties. Jup-Jup and Satuacia's pods worked, but Marza's failed. Rather than quit working, she said she would continue. When she finished, she launched her rocket pod (what should be the proper term for comet) and it crashed into the planet. Exodus 20:5 states:
"You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me"

So, since God admits to being jealous, and envy is one of the seven deadly sins, isn't this proof that God sins, and therefore isn't perfect?

How does this make any sense? There is no logic behind it.

Some said because 'He is a tyrant', which isn't the case at all. As i have mentioned before, all the laws in the OT were designed to create a "perfect" society, so they pretty much had to be strict. Since no one was able to accomplish it and follow them properly, God had to send Christ to show them how. Explaining how to do it is one thing, but doing it is a completely different ball park and Christ made it look easy.

Assuming God is a tyrant is, i believe, a personal fallacy. In a sense that atheists only like to pick and choose what they want to believe and make it sound worse than it actually is... which happens a lot, oddly enough. This is, also, not a very smart way to approach things as it becomes self-deception.

I have an assignment where I have to explain the value of studying mythology to a doubtful parent. The only problem is both of my parents love mythology, and so do all of my friends' parents. Does anyone have any ideas why a parent would be doubtful about their child learning greek mythology, and any ways to justify the value? Thanks!

I always hear atheists calling religious people stupid and irrational. I always hear religious people calling atheists perverts and sinners. I am currently going to college for engineering. Some of the smartest people I have ever meet have been religious. I have meet some extremely smart evangelicals and some extremely smart muslims. Some of the smartest people I have ever meet have also been atheists. I think if you tried to find a coorelation between religous beliefs and intelligence, you would fail horribly. No religious or non-religious group is any smarter than any other group. Personally, I don't think too highly of people who proclaim to be better or smarter than anyone else. I also don't think too highly of people who claim that they are saved and that the rest of us are going to Hell. In class, I see people from all different belief systems getting along perfectly. Why can't that happen every where else???
