I never papered anyone BUT I did for sale sign a kids yard for getting me and my friends into trouble. The kid up the street was kind of a nerd and he had his yard papered every home time we had a home game during football season. I used to see him holding onto the tree for dear life because he was standing at the top of the extension ladder. So that is how they got it off. There were a few times that the paper got wet and the only way to get it off then was to completely soak it until it fell apart. Sort of like it would do in a septic tank. This looked like the best method but I think it took a lot of water.

I think you either have to wait for it to rain and melt the paper off the top branches or try and spray it off with the hose! it will go away eventually!
Either somebody really likes you, thinks you are a good sport, or thinks you are a grouch if this happens to you.... at least, that is what we did it for... kinda a celebration for them and an excuse for us....
One time we had a friend who slept in his volkswagen van and we got enought rolls of TP to fill up a broomstick, went around and around with all the rolls and he was not able to get out of his van in the morning untill he rolled down the windows and ripped his way out... unfortunately we were long gone.

It was alot of fun TPing as kids and had to keep from laughing and waking somebody up - and what an adrenaline rush if you got caught! sometimes we did people we liked, others we didnt.
thanx for the memories!

My son 'Romeo' was ticking off girls all the time and they would show up in the middle of the night and start in with the TP. After rousting him out in 20 degree weather a few times to begin the clean up before the dew hit it in the am and stuck it down he shaped up a bunch. That's not the only thing that got strung around---er uh rubbers, on door handles, radio antennas everywhere, in fact his dad went to work at the bank with one flying off the antenna on his truck, girls at work got a kick out of that one. Nope when I was a kid we didn't do that sort of thing.

I can't remember getting it out from the top of the trees. I guess the wind blew it down.
Yes, I have wrapped houses,so we called it. That was one of the fun things we did at slumber parties.

"Justme", where I live the cheerleaders toilet paper the teams houses and the coach. They have done this since I was a kid but never could figure out the meaning behind it. I always thought it was stupid!!

I've heard of people lighting the end of the toilet paper on fire and just let it burn all the way up...but that could be very dangerous.

Get a long stick like a rake or whatever you have. For the really really high up ones, you just have to wait until it rains and it glops down and you can pick it up when its dry.
