To start things off, I am a Christian and I love the Lord. I also have a great sense of humor, and I am a little saddened that a few of my fellow Christians couldn't see the humor in the question I asked earlier. So much of the time this forum gets pretty "tough", and I don't know why there can't be a little "light-hearted" humor once in a while. I didn't "bash" Christianity, or for that matter any faith at all. What is wrong with seeing the "lighter" side of each of our RELIGIONS or non religions. Religion is not whether or not you believe in God. Loving God and believing in Him is. So for my fellow Christians whom I have offended, all I can say is, read the questions again. I in no way mocked God or my faith. Keep in mind, that if you truely love the Lord, you will remember that it is God who gave us humor after all. Remember, He's got one too.

It's too bad that people get so uptight about the subject of religion these days. I get the impression that some folks feel like the more serious and rigid they are about their religion, the more points they win from their respective god. I thought your post was pretty funny; hopefully anyone who took offense will learn to lighten up, or at least develop some tolerance!

Well, I'm not a Christian, but I thought the question you had asked was fun. You are right, a sense of humor, whether it came from a deity or not, is a wonderful thing to have, use, enjoy and share.

Don't worry about those who took offense. Some people just take pleasure in being angry.

The question and responses were funny, don't let anyone tell you they weren't. I mean, take a joke people! Since you were poking fun at all religions, nobody could say you were biased or anything. Don't worry about the heartless people with no sense of humor.

Sweetheart, don't you worry one bit about that question, or about the grouchy Christians on R&S.
It was actually a breath of fresh air, blowing through this place.
I'm Baptist too, so love to ya, Sister!

You can please some of the people some of the time and part of the people part of the time... and to Hell with the rest. They just always grumpy a$$es.

Thanks for the laughs from the previous question. You have no need to apologize. It appears to me that most reasonable people were not at all offended by your encourage for a little lighthearted humor.

Ignore the grumble-bums. I enjoyed the humor! R&S needs it. I appreciate what you posted.

As for the grumble-bums...just remember...when you walk away from your computer, you don't have put up with them anymore...but they're stuck with their disagreeable selves for life.

I only wish I had a joke to contribute. Once again...thanks :)

Sunnygirl, don't worry about pleasing everyone in this forum, or you'll never have any fun! It was a fun question, and it deserved no ridicule at all.
