The reason why people believe in "God" is that they need a crutch to stand on. They are too afraid to admit that there might not be something better than us. Perfection cannot exist. If God is supposedly perfect then by logic he does not exist.

There are good reasons to believe that something existed to create this mess of mass and energy we call the universe. However, there is a problem in that the majority of people in my country have worked at making one god as finite and emotionally limited as themselves the owner of everyone.
Since anyone that has the joy of seeing the billions of stars and galaxies must see that many infinite Gods with or without gender of limit could easily fit in such grandeur and possibilities. Is it that we are so limited that we must whittle down a god to fit our patterns of hate, bigotry, selfishness, and anger?
The universe is all Gods. The evidence is in looking up from ourselves and our needs to control thought on a single god and at the infinity full of light and possibilities.

To which god do you refer, or are we assuming that all religions share the same one? If so why are they all still fighting about it?
God is about belief, and faith as I understand it, so he may or may not, it depends on the individual. I certainly have seen no evidence that he does.

Hmmmmmmmmm, let me see. I had that same ? 9 years ago. When I was in my early thirties I had an encounter with a strange force regarding my son. This force could not be anything but God. If u r searching for evidence regarding God just ask God to show himself to u ask him just like this ( God show me u in this world). God is all around use but we can not see him if we do not believe he is here. But I asked God to show me himself one day and he did. God is always waiting for use to knock on the door and he will open it. If u want true evidence to see if God is real just ask him and he will show u. Good luck on your quest in searching for God.

I took this from some one who couldn't come up with an answer of his own.
Evil is created in the absence of god.
I know you guys are going to say oh meaning no god in your life.Or it could mean there is no god at all. There is no evidence he does or doesn't exist. but if you can't prove either way doesn't that mean they cancel each other out for they are negative and the push each other away. Science might find the answer but religion will simply dismiss it as blasphemy like always because they can't find it true or come up with a logical way to find it not true. it because simply he doesn't exist. He is nothing but fiction. any religious book has been written by man.Religion is man made to keep people from thinking freely. It is designed to brain wash us. In the Future though Like all religions to past. all religions that we think are true are not. They will be known as myths like the others like Egyptian Mayan Greek roman and many more. It's inevitable for it to occur

The university professor challenged his students with this question. Did God create everything that exists?
A student bravely replied yes, he did!"
"God created everything?" The professor asked.
"Yes, sir," the student replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are then God is evil."
The student became quiet before such an answer.
The professor was quite pleased with himself and boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question professor?" "Of course", replied the professor. The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?"
"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question.
The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Everybody and every object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (- 460 degrees F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have too little heat.
The student continued. "Professor, does darkness exist?"
The professor responded, "Of course it does".
The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present."
Finally the young man asked the professor. "Sir, does evil exist?"
Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said. We see it every day. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. "These manifestations are nothing else but evil."
To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or love, that exist just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."
The professor sat down.
The young mans name --- Albert Einstein
For the guy below who slammed me, this person asked if there are any good reasons to believe in god and I answered him. Albert Einstein is a much more intelligent man than you! What makes you so sure. And why do you group religion with god, god is love. Religion is fear, fear of death, fear of life, fear of hell, fear of gods wrath, fear of satan!!! Anytime fear is used it cannot be god!! So I do not believe in religion! I do believe in god, If god is love and that is tthe opposite of evil. I believe in love therefore I believe in god!! Science has yet to prove any theory the have put up on the matter. Who are you to say there is no god. How would someone as ignorant as you ever know true love!!!! Heres another quote from einstein!!! This one is for you!!
"The further the spiritual evolution of mankind advances, the more certain it seems to me that the path to genuine religiosity does not lie through the fear of life, and the fear of death, and blind faith, but through striving after rational knowledge." Einstein
Spirituality and religion are NOT the same!!!!

The way you feel, when you pray, or are in the presence of certain people. You want measurable, quantifiable proof? Sorry, thats not how it works.
