I looked both verses up with the NASB version.

It always seems like the new doesn't match the old...

Romans 11:26

and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB."

Isaiah 59:20

"A Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob," declares the LORD.

To quote a site:
http://www.jewsforjudaism.org/web/handbook/s_refuting.html

"The Messiah's role is not to take away our sins; rather, when we turn away from our sins, the Messiah will then come! It is also noteworthy that many New Testaments translate this verse correctly in Isaiah and incorrectly in Romans."

Thoughts?

men are dying. theyre testosterone levels are dropping each generation because of the estrogen like chemicals and the birth control in the water. girls kick guys in the balls and that can cause damage to the cells that make testosterone.
more and more boys are born with deceases and stuff.

and women think its ok to hit men because tv shows it. women hate men because feminists lie and say men pay them less and discriminate against them and 1/4 women are raped which is false. they say men oppressed women when men were just trying to help women.

even a lot of women think men are stupid when we're not.

Did you know that Yahoo somehow found a "similar" question titled "What is the relationship between 911 and Sadam?" (this is me rolling my eyes)

Anyhow I bought a BIG turkey yesterday, 88 cents a lb which is an amazing price in Canada AND a pumpkin cheesecake, both of which are residing in the freezer for now.

Getting all hungry and excited thinking about turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pumpkin cheesecake, yams, brussel sprouts, a good white wine, peas and carrots, mashed potatoes and turkey gravy, hmmmmmmmm

I am having my kids and their partners over, hopefully the little guy, and one of the kids friends, only one at this point in time.

AND my daughter is getting married on the 6th but they arent leaving on the honeymoon until some time in November. Its going be a very busy weekend.

My boyfriend and I are going to the local fair this year with another couple we're friends with and we have a bit of a dilemma....

Me and my bf are HUGE ride fanatics when it comes to the fair! However, the friends we'll be going with this year aren't very much for rides and would rather look at the exhibits and eat the whole time. Don't get me wrong! My bf and I like looking at the exhibits too.... just not the whole time, you know? I'm just worried that maybe our interests will clash. Also, we won't be able to go on a weekend because we all have very conflicting schedules when it comes to work.

At first I thought perhaps we could look at the exhibits and then ride the rides, but that wouldn't work because the other couple doesn't like to ride the rides!

Any suggestions?

Hello all! I pray that you are all doing well this afternoon! As the old adage goes, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Life has surely given me a lemon over the past few days! Life always changes, but God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. How awesome is that?
As I was reading today, God truly used His Word to encourage me.
Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and He will give you all you need from day to day if you live for Him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. So DON'T WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW, FOR TOMORROW WILL BRING IT'S OWN WORRIES. TODAY'S TROUBLE IS ENOUGH FOR TODAY. Matthew 6:32-34
Isn't it amazing how much practical and common wisdom is in the bible?
We are God's masterpiece. Ephesians 2:10
You are a masterpiece. Gods piece de' resistance. I don't think I spelled it right, but you know what I mean. How awesome!
Continue in your faith, established and firm. Colossians 1:23

Hindus claim that their religion is monotheistic because all their gods are avatars of the same God; Christians claim that their religion is also monotheistic because Jesus, the Father and Holy Spirit are aspects of the same God. But even pagan gods emanated from Zeus or were part of the same divinity. So the question is, is it possible that polytheism (in this sense) and strict monotheism are compatible? Or, is it possible that Christians and Hindus like the idea of monotheism but try to reconcile their beliefs with strict monotheism and fail miserably?

Protestants complain that the RCC kept the Bible from the masses.

Now they read the Bible and each person has their own interpretation which leads to a new church or new group.

Then each group will call the other one a "non-Christian".

Happy now ??

Most "Christians" who don't share the same belief as me, will invariably just tell me I'm going to hell. It reminds me of a drunken fool who doesn't know what to say to his wife but just hits her in anger.

tell others not to judge you and accept you for who you are, yet you'll be the first to think you have a Ph.D in psychology or something and have the validation to tell other GLBT people how they should live, or how they should be? Or judge their personality and character traits?

For example: telling a transsexual like myself that they are basically too wrapped up in their transsexual identity and that this is more to life.

Remember: every time you point a finger, you got 3 more pointing right back at you.
