Faith is more credible. Only faith can offer salvation, life eternal, and spiritual growth and wisdom. Science can do no such things even in mortal man's wildest dreams.
"The wisdom of man is foolishness to God". This is not a comparison. Simply put; man's 'wisdom' without the Father is not wisdom at all. It's just science. This would fully explain the tragedy of this world which is so full of science but lacking any real wisdom and understanding.

Science. It allows for error and is only substantiated when the same process can be repeated with the same result.
Religion allows for no error and once one element of any religious text fails the whole thing is subject to question and falls apart. It's what forces some people to believe the earth is only about 6,000 years old.
No joke. Some people really believe that.

Science is testable. You can review its source material. Science does nothing to discredit religion. On the other hand, some religions, steeped in doctrine, seek to discredit science. They do not do this in the name of God, but for the wealth and power derived from those doctrines.

A lot of people will say that religion has no proof which couldn't be farther from the truth. There is a lot of science that actually proves religion to be true.
For example...God said let there be light...and there was light? Now, scientists say that light could not travel that fast. But scientists also say that over the years the speed of light has been losing speed, which makes it very possible that light was that fast however many years ago.
Also people would say that the world can't be created in 6 days?
But they fail to remember the loss in translation..and the meaning of the word days back then..compared to now. Back then days could have been any amount of time..not limited to the system we have created.

science always strives to improve itself.
non-dogmatic religions do, too, but we seem outnumbered by the dogmatic.
organized religions tend to get bogged down in dogma, which is about a cessation of seeking information in favor of relying on old answers, whether they are right or wrong.

Science is a natural way of knowing things.
Religion is a supernatural way of knowing things.
They are like the two pillars supporting the roof. They may appear different but they do meet at the top.

science.. religion is based on faith of things that can't be proven or tested.
science is more solidly based on the tangible.
The only time there is a problem is when someone tries to use science to disprove religion.. or religion to disprove science.. which just seems foolish to me.. they don't work on the same realm... science=tangible.. religion=non-tangible.... one can never prove nor can it disprove the other... Though I did find my way to deism through science.

Religion...plain and simple... science has been refuted time and time again and has contradicted itself (-remember when we though the earth was flat- now we think its round,etc.).- changing as they explore more- religion is constant and never changes- the story is the same over time
