Why does it say the Feast of Unleavened Bread was happening when that comes after the Passover? Did Jesus not die on the day of the Passover as well?

If you walked into a shop would you find it offensive if the person serving smiled and said 'Tremendous'. Not necessarily refering to your cleavage but just acknowledging that you looked good. Offensive or would you take it as a complement?

Many people have told me "if there is no Creator then there isn't any purpose to life!!"
And so they believe there must be a God.
However....let's assume their is a God. But what Created God? If nothing created god, then by this logic...GOD HAS NO PURPOSE.

So somewhere along the line of creation, the original creator HAS NO PURPOSE.
And Christianity assumes God is perfect, meaning HAVING NO PURPOSE IS PERFECT.
So...what's wrong with having no purpose if your image of perfection has no purpose?
In the end...having a god defeats the purpose lol. You are either saying we have no purpose, or we have a purpose but that's a bad (imperfect) thing to have.

So...why don't we just leave god out of it and make OUR OWN purpose in life?

Psalms 82:6
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

John !0: 34-35
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Eph 4:12-13
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Rev 3:21 (Jesus speaking)
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Rev 21:7 (Jesus speaking)
7 He that overcometh shall inherit call things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Why are they so scared to call good deeds as "good deeds".

Will they have to admit that faith alone is not sufficient ?

I have a girlfriend, and i was wondering what was considered adultery? Like, i put my hand up her shirt and she later freaked out saying it was also a form of adultery. But i'm not convinced. Adultery was mostly sexual intercourse last time i checked. What do you guys think? And what do you guys consider adultery ?

Seems like non-believers/non-Christians would be afraid they will die and find out they were wrong! Why else do you think that Christians make up nearly 35% of the world's population? That's 35% of Earth's entire population -- that includes all other religions and the non-religious/non-believers.

So...someone just included this in their answer to one of my question; I asked whether a Christian parent would allow their child to read books that do not portray Christianity very well.

"If you're a Satanist, atheist, and that's how you want to raise your kids, then that's your choice, but as Christians we are obligated to protect our kids from what we think is wrong."

My thoughts on this--WTF!

Atheists, this is quite a revelation. Apparently, because we're not Christians, we're not obligated to protect our children.

o.O

I'm talking, of course, about 'original sin'. If he's still punishing the newly born, that surely is proof that Adam and Eve are not yet forgiven, in my opinion.

Thanks, pancitcanton, for the question idea :)

Sometimes somebody will call, usually a friend or somebody but for one reason or another I just don't want to deal with them. Am I being an asshole by just not answering their calls? I kind of feel that it's my right, but some people get pissed about it.
