Matthew 25:23
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

2 Corinthians 3
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
God wants the best for us. He wants us to be like him. We cannot be know all he knows or be as righteous as him in this life. But he will continue to teach his children who will listen, Mormon or non-Mormon, in the next life until they know all he knows and are like him.
Matthew 5
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
