I think you'll find that shrimp is a sin:

Leviticus 11:9-12 says:
9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Deuteronomy 14:9-10 says:
9 These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
10 And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.

Both, equally.

Leviticus 18:22  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 11:12  Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

GOD bless

At least I've got 50% of my bases covered.
PS: That from Leviticus is part of the Old Testament covenent Christians believe Jesus's death superceded (although Jesus himself said one iota of the Scriptures should not be done away with).
Kosher laws are specifically done away with in the New Testament, while there is one passage written in one of the Apostles letters which said homosexuals can't get into heaven, along with drunkards, gamblers, lechers, liars and a whole bunch of other kids of sinners which would encompass a whole lot of other people sitting in the pews. However, Jesus himself never condemned homosexuality, and forgave many people classified as sinners by the church and spoke out many times against judging them or punishing them (Judge not lest ye be judged. Let he who is without sin thrown the first stone. You point out the speck in your brother's eye while ignoring the plank in your own eye). What is very clear is that Jesus had a special loathing for religious hypocrites, and condemned them often, and never mentioned gay people once.

Well let's see, it says

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 1Cor 6:9,10

"God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator— who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done." Rom 1:24-28

Jude 1:7 "In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire."

Heb 13:4 "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

Furthermore Jesus said concerning marriage "at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’" of which he took as a precedent for marriage

Can't find any similar condemnation for shrimp eaters in the Bible. Can you?

Oh, and by the way concerning Jewish dietary restrictions, Jesus lifted them in Acts 10. Read it for yourself.

God didn't make eating shrimp punishable by death. But He did for homosexuality. So I guess shrimp wins this debate. The reason God told us not to eat shrimp was for health and disease prevention reasons that aren't so readily spread as the fast spreading std diseases through homosexuality. Thus the stricter punishment for the homosexual law breaker.

"A silly question deserves a silly answer: Popcorn. "

Popcorn shrimp? I agree...Popcorn shrimp is okay. All non-deep fried shrimps are an abomination to God.

We Christians are not under the law of Moses; eating shrimp is o.k. asa general rule. (Acts 10).
(Exception to the rule example; it is laced with poison).
