Why do we believe in Jesus and the Bible and not Mohammad and the Koran? There are a billion Muslims and most of them live in the Middle East and around a billion Christians and they live in the west, generally....

Does where you live determine what you believe?

Will one of these groups go to Hell? And how do you know?

Why some Christians are in denial about their own religion and come on here saying"well you should not judge" when some Christians say it like it is, Christianity says if you do not believe in Jesus as your savior,you are going to hell. There is no other way around it, so why do some Christians get all offended when some other Christians do say that? THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOUR RELIGION TEACHES, IT DOES TEACH THAT ATHEISTS,AGNOSTICS, JEWS, MUSLIMS, BUDDHIST ALL ARE GOING TO HELL. SO, if you do not like that, why don't you just get rid of your religion , instead of complaining here about other Christians that actually do talk about the nastiness of that religion? WHY ALL THE FAKE INDIGNATION?

What's the point of posting a question asking for OPINION but then blocked anyone who doesn't agree. Doesn't the person realise that they will end up having no one being able to answer their question at all? Or they want that to happen so they can say - No one like them or that they are discriminated against because they have a disability? We are all here trying to help each other by answering and supporting each other. But that does not mean we have to always agree. Isn't that the way it should be?

I've decided to read the whole Bible and have only read a few pages but noticed that it includes a long geneology in the first few pages. I kind of just skip through it because there's so many names, but is it important to recognize those names to understand parts of the Bible or is it like a "just so you know" type of thing?

There's mineral water, purified spring water, distilled water, steam vaporized water, flavored water, water with bubbles, water with vitamins added. Why couldn't I just drink plain old tap water. It's free, after all.

Now, I'm sure many of you have encountered little shits in supermarkets. Little kids running about and knocking things over, being rude, walking all over their parents, you know the kind. But the worst are the biters. Yes, those little ***** that feel it is okay to bite you whenever they feel like it.

Okay /g/, here's the best part. A biter got me today when I was grocery stopping. He broke the ******* skin, too. This was when the gears started turning, the moment I saw a tiny sprickle of blood on the little ****'s teeth as he was grinning at me like the little **** he is. I made my eyes get wide, and started screaming "****! ****!". Now, my good friend, Tom we'll call him, was there too, and he instantly picked up on it. He started shouting "****! MAYBE HE DIDN'T GET IT! ****!". By now, the kid is scared shitless and starts crying, and instantly, Mizz Mom appears out of nowhere and starts getting pissy at us for yelling at her kid.

Here's the kicker, /g/, I look her straight in the eye and say, 'Mam, get your son tested as soon as possible, he just bit me and I'm... I'm ******* HIV POSITIVE.

And now there is silence. Not a peep in the entire store. The brat knows he just ****** up big time because his mom isn't defending his ***. She just stares at me wide eyed. I walk away from them, buy my **** from the wide eyed cashier, all the while blood is dripping from my calf, making a nice little trail on the floor. And, just s we leave, we start to hear the mother sobbing. Sobbing like the **** she is.

I have never felt any more satisfaction than the moment I heard that sob.

From the paintings they look just like modern humans. Not only that, but the garden of eden sounds really complicated. I am pretty sure that early humans lived in mudpits surrounded by rocks. I don't think they had anything as nice looking and intricate as the garden of eden. Overall, the story sounds like a best guess as to how humans came about.

We have an elderly neighbor, who is disabled and does not have any resources. Is it possible to find a free elderly transportation system in NJ (New Brunswick)? She needs to see her doctor and she can barely walk. She lives alone and her family does not provide care.

I know of an organization that build a home for a couple. It was small but pretty to see from the outside.

These people that built the home had a HUGE banner over the house stating how wonderful this organization was and how they were helping the community. In addition there were bule balloons and trays of food.

My question is if you do a good deed for someone isnt it supposed to be done in secret and not annoucing it in the public square see Matthew 6:1-6?

Also the same organization basically hung up on a couple trying to get housing because they felt 31,000 a year combined income was too much money to make.

What is your take on this?

your religeon clearly states that you are better the every one else. its sais you are the chosen people. "am segola"
and thet you are a nation, not only a religion.
and that your goal is to come back to Zion.
so how can you be Americans and jews in the same time... or of any other nationality. your think you are better then any one else, and that you are entitled for any thing... and if you dont get what you want its anti-Semitism. how can you in good heart be Jewish an in the same time Americans (or of any other nationality)?

There isn't a page in the bible that i have read that hasn't made me feel as if the authors were playing a hideous joke on all of humanity. It is all so simplistic, so black and white. The facts that we've come to know about the world in this enlightened age have been turned on their ear... even some of the knowledge that one would expect the authors themselves to know is lampooned (that light requires a source for instance). Pages upon pages are wasted on minutia where the real meat of most of these stories is glossed over in mere words.

How can anyone really take this stuff seriously? Am I being punked by the world?!
