From the paintings they look just like modern humans. Not only that, but the garden of eden sounds really complicated. I am pretty sure that early humans lived in mudpits surrounded by rocks. I don't think they had anything as nice looking and intricate as the garden of eden. Overall, the story sounds like a best guess as to how humans came about.

No one knows what they looked like, for that matter no one really knows what a Neanderthal looks like, they have ideas but there is no proof their ideas are right or that Neanderthals even existed. I see a lot of scientific people talking about the theroies but I have never seen a Neanderthal so I can use scientific logic to claim they do not exist. After all the evidence of God is clearly evident yet people sat that since they have not seen Him they do not believe He exists. Since I have never seen a Neanderthal I can state with Scientific Certainty that they did not and do not exist.

All those drawings that really make the atheists.
It's stupid.
So is the drawing of angels.
The problem is, people sadly and happened to be Christians, strengthen their believe based on this comics.
It should not have drawings.
It's biased the messages.
But ........their leaders agree and their followers believe.
You may say I am as muslim is just as stupid believing in Qur'an. I dont mind, because what I read is the messages behind the words, which in lots of ways give me strength and courage which I really need to live thru my life.

Bones don't have skin. It's any artists guess as to what they looked like. However, the Neanderthals were found through bone analysis to suffer from rickets which caused their stooped posture. Vitamin difficiency. I doubt that Adam and Eve had that problem.

We were created in Gods image. After the fall of the garden when the "forbidden fruit" brought the curse on the world, individuals started to decay. Adam lived to be very old but since he had the curse on him, decay did him in. After 930 years he died. I am sure, before the curse, Adam and Eve were God's perfection.

Because Neanderthals are a separate species. They are not human. In fact, they only share about 95% of our DNA.

if they actually existed then they would be barely human, unless the bible is saying that evolution is wrong and humans started as humans. But think about it, Jesus lived in the middle east, he sure wasn't white. and they have black santas and white santa decorations for christmas. and anyway, why does everyone think that god is watching over humans only? if there is a god, theyve let us eat trillions of chickens and cows, make all these species extinct, destroy the forests, etc etc. So either he truly doesnt care about all of his creations as it is claimed in the bible, or God just created and left, which means no one is watching over us, or there is no god. think about it, for thousands of years people have died and killed and fought to get people to believe in their religion, and meanwhile we've been nearly killing ourselves with pollution etc. etc. so religious or not, it would be best for humanity, as well as all of the other living things on earth that humans never acknowledge, if we just stopped arguing about the supernatural, which YOU dont know for fact exists, or doesnt exist, and WE probably never will, and even if we do everyone will argue about the reliability of the source. so point is, unless we get over ourselves and admit that we dont know for once, and each believe our own beliefs, we're going to end up destroying the planet and ending the despute once and for all anyway, but in a less pleasant way

Silly, Adam & Eve were white, she was blond (of course). As time went on, their incestuous children produced some of the other races. Then God drowned everybody except Noah's family. His grandchildren continued the incest and gradually all the other races and prehistoric human branches evolved (oops, I mean were created).

no one knows what they looked like, because they're mythical. the paintings are all artists impressions. they look caucasian/european because the artists were caucasian/european.
djmantx is confused. neanderthals are apparently not ancestors of humans, but they are related. if he has cousins, would he argue that he's not related to them?
