I am 36 years old YES I learned about human reproduction in public school. Before I was in high school I knew what the male and female reproduction system was and I knew what happened biologically when the male and female reproduction got together. I understood the whole process of how a baby was conceived around age 13. They say many schools are teaching homosexuality in schools. Are they just teaching that some people are different and not everybody has a boy/girl relationship and leaving it at that? Are they getting into the physical acts that take place between two males or two females? I am not talking about kissing, hugging or holding hands. Anytime I write the words describing homosexual acts I get reported for abuse and recieve a violation. I am trying to understand what exactly these schools want our kids to know. Do we want our kids to know what kind of physical activities homosexuals engage in? If you say no would you not be educating them properly?

But guys, consider this. Social standards is what a common gorup of people feel is righteous. But what if such people really hate homosexuals? Must we conform to such standards? Or must it change????

Explain. What has this done to your level of confidence in the Bible?

People often say, "There are so many contradictions in the Bible, " yet, often cannot name one they have found for themselves.

... what you know/understand of the theory?

I've read a lot of nonsense on Y!A like "why are there still monkeys around if they became humans?" and "no one's actually witnessed a lizard turn into a mammal".

Why shouldn't evolution be more probable than God "poofing" creatures out of thin air?

The Bible says everyone will stand before God to give an account of every word, thought, and action. Will you be innocent or guilty on Judgment Day? Let’s look at the Ten Commandments and see if you meet God’s standard. Is God first in your life? Do you love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength? Have you ever lied, stolen, hated, or dishonored your parents? Have you looked with lust and therefore committed adultery in your heart? If you have broken just one of these laws, then you have sinned against God. The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The penalty of sin is death and eternal torment in hell.

The good news is God provided a way out. Jesus Christ took your punishment when he suffered and died on the cross. He defeated death by rising from the dead. The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Repent (turn from your sins) therefore and turn to God, that your sins may be wiped out.

Why do you believe this?

...when I die, I'm proved wrong and it turns out that there IS a heaven, and God or St Whatever is sat there and I tell him that I've never committed a crime (beyond having an opinion, as that appears to be a crime on this site) never done drugs, never been so drunk I can't stand up, never been pregnant outside marriage, I've done nothing at all that has ever made my parents or the law disappointed in me? Are they going to tell me that I can't come in because I chose to be with my family on a sunday rather than sitting in a cold church listening to some ancient scriptures? Christians must surely be able to see that I will have been treated unfairly.
IF all my good deeds on earth mean nothing and all it comes down to is whether or not I believed in god, surely everyone might as well commit crime and do everything wrong because you're exempt from hell as long as you went to church.

Do you say, "Oh I prayed that prayed I already did that once?" There is no prayer anywhere in the bible that says just pray this prayer and you will go to heaven. You have to continue to believe and continue to repent. A prayer can not save you. Please friend do not put all your trust and hope in a prayer. Put in all in Jesus Christ. Obey his commands and trust in him alone to save you from hell.

How can people believe something word for word that wasn't written in the language they speak? Even translations among modern languages are very flawed due to grammar, sentence structure, and additional or lack of vocabulary. Even a small change in subject verb agreement can have a big meaning in a sentence, and Latin and Aramiac are dead languages. Whoever first translated it into english could not have translated it perfectely because the Latin/Aramiac they spoke woudl be diffrent than ancient, and they probably translated it into old Enlgish which of course is diffrent from modern English etc... I understand that some people beleive its the word of God so they must follow it, but the bibles they have cannot possibly be literal translations so how can they beleive what they have is the exact word of God?
