It was the Council of Nicaea that instituted and adopted Pauline's Trinity Christianity vs Arian's Monotheistic Christianity.

Arian Christianity sounds like its not very different from Islam's assertion.

Could someone explain to me what this means:
“You’ve spun so many tales it’s hard to keep track”?

Forgive me for my ignorance my friends- but English is my 3-rd language. I speak English very well; however, I sometimes have difficulty understanding idioms like this one: I don’t understand the “spun so many tales”!

I kind of understand it but I’m not sure. “Spun” comes from “spin” >> which means to turn, rotate, gyrate something. The “so many” in my opinion means: “done something many times”.

“Tales” in my opinion means the –the main subject that is not written –but applied.
“Tales” is the topic or main idea for what the conversation takes place.

So, in my opinion the “spun so many tales” means: You have done “it” so many times, which “it” in this case is the main idea of the conversation or dialogue.

So my conclusion is: “you have done-what you have done for many times”, repeat-ably.

I would like to give to all of you the points but I will try to understand who is going to provide me the best information and explanation of this idiom.

as far as I know Catholicism introduced Christianity to the world, and it is the original Christian religion, so what's with all the "Catholics are not Christians" all about?

those Protestants owe their beliefs from the Catholic religion. if the Catholic Church is wrong in how they worship and serve God and and His people, then who can say what's wrong and what's right among the Protestants when Protestantism is just an off-shoot from Catholicism? even the Bible the Protestants use came from the Catholic Church.

so, if Catholicism is not a Christian religion, then there's no Christian religion, and all claiming to be Christians of today are not Christians at all.


*note: I'm not Catholic, but I know the facts.

(I have been a silent observer concerning Catholics vs Protestants, so I thought of asking this question.)

anyone who challenges her statements. I went to read her other questions these were so ridiculous and she won't let anyone read her questions or answers, you can't add her as a contact or even does she allow anyone who doesn't believe her or go along with her lies. Doesn't that make you wonder about how honest people are if you cannot see anything about them? They don't allow critisim, makes everything they say suspect. ok so yesterday night i watched "superbad"... and i hated it... don't believe me?? lemme tell u that i left after 15 mins and got my money back! and i was thinking last night when i got home that this society has been so corrupted... we swear so much... always talking about sexual content and it's making us look really bad. Instead y don't we focus on something more useful and do something BIG with our lives, this is wut is making ppl think that swearing is cool, extremely sexual jokes r funny (which they're not) and saying ***** and **** every 2 seconds makes u a better person in terms of popularity... i really want to do something about this because i refuse to let the future generations grow up like this, or else this would be TERRIBLE! im thinking starting small with a stop swearing campaign. First im gonna make a petition and tell people to stop swearing 4 1 week and come back on a website we're going to make and tell us how they felt. any ideas on wut to do next to make this BIG!

I was told this by some people once, they didn't want an acceptable debate even though I rebuffed every fact they gave me, they kept throwing back the same used out tag-line, there is irrefutable proof.

So, I like to see this proof. What I know about evolution is...

1. Not all scientists say that it's the only way.
2. It is less probable than intelligent creation.
3. The people on Yahoo Answers (sometimes) and certain Archaeologists, refuse to acknowledge the growing proof of creation.

Here's what I know about creation.
1. God could have used evolution to create the world.
2. It takes less faith and more love to know that God created the world and He is in charge, than too believe man is on his own.
3. Sometimes, creationists look crazy in the eyes of atheists only because they refuse to acknowledge anything about us other than out religion.

So basically...
1. It is harder to cling to evolution
2. God created the world.

i have a friend who is black but she has only white friends. the black people at our school r all bad people who smoke and cuss. she acts like a white person 2. she never aknowledges it with her other friends though. i dont care that she is black but some of her other friends talk behind her back. sometimes she talks about it with me and asks me what she should do. what am i supposed 2 say?

I already speak English, Irish-Gaelic, German and French. I want to learn 2 more languages. Can someone please give me a list of easy, average and difficult languages, clearly laid out. Thanks.

I have only ever seen a real life black man once at the bus station in my town. I have seen and even spoken to a few chinese people. Where i live there are no blacks for miles and miles as its a small white town. There is not racism here. I see a lot of them on television though and from what people say im very lucky and should steer well clear of them.
is this unfair ? i think i should make up my own mind about people though.
