I have only ever seen a real life black man once at the bus station in my town. I have seen and even spoken to a few chinese people. Where i live there are no blacks for miles and miles as its a small white town. There is not racism here. I see a lot of them on television though and from what people say im very lucky and should steer well clear of them.
is this unfair ? i think i should make up my own mind about people though.

I think your kidding.....honestly. But just to answer your question because i know it's attention you want....yes i do know black people. i am a black person, my family are black and i'm so very proud of that. If you are seriously asking this question then what country are you from, because their are black people allover the world. Here (america), Britain, Europe, Asia......it goes on. And i made a point not to mention the obvious being africa and the carribean. If however you are from america... your a liar. why because althogh there are many predominantly white towns in certain states like idaho or whatever it'd be pretty hard not to see a few black people. If you want to be a racist that's you but it's ignorant and closed minded. you can't judge people on the color of their skin it's horrible, how would you like it if you got got beat up everyday by a bunch of guys for years and the only reason they gave you was that they didn't like the color of your skin. a bit extreme but i'm trying to make you see it from the other perspective. although black people actualy did have to go through that and much worse as i'm sure you know...unless of course in your small town where black people don't exist schools don't either. Wise up and stop being so closed minded and immature. You've obviously never experienced racism but trust me it isn't nice to be on the recieving end of people like you.

Well, television is NEVER a good source for finding out about other races (It's ran completely on stereotypes.) You should probably make up your own mind about people since, from what you've told me, your town has very little experience with other races. A good opportunity to do such is to get out once and a while. Go to the next town over. Go to the next state over. Get a first-hand account about people other than yourself.

I know MANY black people. I live in Dallas, Tx. A large city of nearly 2 million people. We have many more blacks here than most small towns. While it IS a fact that the majority of blacks in America live in poverty, and it IS a fact that the homicide rate in black communities is far, far higher than other communities, and while it is also a fact that black kids do worse in school than white kids- don't let the majority fool you. I know black people who work hard, are honest & decent. I know black people with Phd's. I know black people who are architects/designers. I know black people who are successful business owners. Sadly the majority of black Americans fit the stereotypes, and seem to relish in them (look at most of the rappers for example).

where on earth do you live - the north pole? Yes, I do know some black people and they are just the same as everyone else - some are kind decent human beings and some are not. we are all the same under clothes sweetheart - honestly.

Black people, no in fact all immigrants represent a weakening off our society, i know a few black people, many of them are perfectly nice people, many are not, they are useless money grabbers. So it varies.

im only friends with 2 black people no dont think of them like that some of them are really good people.majority of blacks i've met are cocky and rude but hey you cant base the race on one's experience
