I was wondering because everyone says we are out to "turn" other people gay. How many of you feel as if you were "turned" gay? I have yet to find any evidence that this is plausible. No matter how much they may try and claim it so.

Well... let me see. Hmmm. My gay teacher helped me with coming out... so he could have converted me. Uh, nope. My first sexual experience maybe? Nope. I was gay before anyone else had a part in that fact... I have had a few heterosexuals try to convert me (unsuccessfully) to their side though... funny how that works out, isn't it.

I was never converted by someone. I just kinda finally figured it out. Hey, if I missed out on this "conversion" part of my developement, shouldn't I get a partial refund or something??? And dang it, i still haven't gotten my copy of the gay agenda either. Whoever is responsible for leaving me off the mailing list better get on the ball and do their job right!!!!! I'm getting good and tired of being left out!!

I did get my beliefs change by a gay dude once. A very attractive, passionate, and just plain HOT hispanic guy I know from NOLA, proved to me that there was more to life than being solely a top. Does that count???

Well to be truthful I kind of got converted to bottomism by this cute gay guy. I only had to attend one seminar and swear in the book that I would never be a topist again.

I didn't turn gay, nor did I turn anyone else gay...You're born gay. What I DO think though is that when someone who has been in the closet for years starts hanging around with gay people, he will probably "act more gay".

Well he didn't turn me gay, but he made me a top. He made an offer I couldn't refuse. LOL

And in turn I have created a few more bottoms. Does that make me some form of gay sexual vampire, because that would be awesome!!!!

I just have to shake my head every time one of those people still repeat that ridiculous stereotype. No one can "turn" you gay, nor is it a choice, nor is it "caused" by something that happens in your youth. I'd love to ask them who "turned" them straight, or when they chose it? This is 2007....they need to wake up to reality.

I am around five gay guys at the fansite I work at, and they have never once tried to convert me or anyone else.

That whole converting hooplah is just people's insecurity and paranoia causing them blasphemous delusions.

You need to start attending the recruiting sessions. They are now mandatory for you to keep your gay card - no more substitutions allowed for watching additional episodes of The Golden Girls.

I didn't even interact with an openly gay person until I was 18.
(Remember, this is West Virginia.)
