The Bible does not contradict itself.
Missapplication of doctrine and mistranslated verses are usually the problem.
The release of the Vatican Codex 1209 for photographing in the late 1800's brought to light a lot of the mistakes in the Textus Receptus, which is the Greek Text the KJV and the Douay are based on.
We know have very good and accurate Bibles at our disposal.
The Bible was written over a period of thousands of years by 40 writers.
Those searching for contradictions give no allowance for that.

I think one of the biggest ones is the trinity. There are glaring differences in the old and new testament plus the bible not once says anything about it or the number three.
Many people are unable to see the contradictions because they refuse to. In the end it should not matter. Either you believe it in your heart or you don't. Just don't assume something is perfect because people like the way it sounds.
On example from second link:
EX 12:13 The Israelites have to mark their houses with blood in order for God to see which houses they occupy and "pass over" them.
PR 15:3, JE 16:17, 23:24-25, HE 4:13 God is everywhere. He sees everything. Nothing is hidden from God.
I know it is silly, but it is a contradiction none the less. It easy to pick apart something that is "perfect." It leaves no room for error on any level.

I can't find the exact chapter and verses, I remember reading in the old testament that a set of rules was "permanent", then later in the new testament, it was stated that those rules were "temporary".
Sorry I can't provide the exact chapters and verses.
However, I dispute your claim that people who say there are contradictions in the bible, never name them. The contradictions have been pointed out, named, and discussed numerous times. The bible believers just don't accept that they are contradictions. There arguments are usually along the lines of "God has hardened your heart, therefore you don't understand" or "you are not reading in in "context" but then they fail to give the context.

What is a "true" contradiction? The question to ask is whether there are any significant contradictions, any contradictions in the actual message presented. One gospel says there was an angel at the tomb after the resurrection. Another gospel says there were two angels. SO WHAT? WHO CARES? Does that change the message being presented? It is utterly insignificant. If one gospel said Jesus rose from the dead and another gospel said He didn't, THAT would be a significant contradiction.

Grace and Works. There are scriptures that support each side of the debate. I'm not talking just about interpretations. Paul states we are saved by faith alone. James says that faith without works is dead.
I cherish this sort of contradiction. The purpose of scripture is to inspire and challenge, not just produce dogma.

Here's one HUGE bundle of contradictions:
Read the 3 (or 4, if you accept Mark's version as authentic) versions of the Resurrection. Read them closely and you will see that the characters involved, the number of angels present, earthquakes and other natural effects or not, what Jesus says to the person(s) who discover him, and on and on.
The 3(4) passages contradict each other, constantly.

I would say that the Old and New Testaments are contradictions themselves.
The Old Testament is based on laws of Moses which stresses the wrath and punishment of God.
The New Testament has Jesus preaching about his loving and forgiving father.
example: eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, life for a life...vs...let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Of course there are answers and explanations to all of these, some amazingly ingenious. No contradiction will deter the belief of those who truly want to believe. (And I'm not suggesting that's a good thing.)
