It doesn't disturb my religious beliefs in the least.
I see God as both Father and Mother.
Does it matter that I'm a Christian??

Mother Nature, Mother Earth

There are many people who worship "mother" nature(goddesses also). Could you call it "father" nature? I guess so. It shouldn't matter. Although i do think "mother" nature sounds better.

Christianity has always used "father" exclusively.

To answer your question. I don't think it makes any difference calling God mother or father.

If God exists, do you think god is male or female? or both? or neither?

I asked God personally in prayer.
He said He Is the Son of God, Jeus Christ when He walked the earth, died & raised frome the dead an everlasting body.

He is the Father God & too bright & strong for me to see. Yet a vision of muscle chest & strong arm & fluffy white straight (wavey?) hair & beard behind a bright cloud. So? Very much a daddy.

He is the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit is referred to as a 'He' by Jesus in the Gospels.

God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit Is the Creator.

The Mother is the earth & God created the earth. And the New Heavenly Jerusalem is the Mother of us all. And is not God but is the Heavenly Jerusalem & Mother of us all.

a lot of human beings's concept of GOD is purely an imaginary being. Religions base in this concept of GOD are pyramid scheme. They ask you to donate your stressful earned money for an afterlife in heaven that would not exist. They threaten you with an afterlife in hell in case you do no longer donate. each thing are created by power contained in direction of the evolution technique. power can not be created or destroyed in spite of the undeniable fact that that's recycled and reuse. Reincarnation is the recycled and reuse of this power. existence is supported by power and while dying happens, the flexibility are reincarnated for yet another existence. hence, power is the organic explaination of GOD

Most non-Abrahamic religions have one or more "Mother Goddess" deiteis, as well as a "Father God" figure.

It's all to do with the culture at the time when Christianity was founded. Men wanted more power than the times when Godesses were prevailant, and wanted to have an excuse to bully their women. Same reason there are few women mentioned in the bible as important people.

Interesting how the Sacred Female archetype is making her "comeback". I've always been confused as to how an incomprehensible, all powerful diety could be sexually labeled.

Pre-Christian philosophy ascribed equal billing to both the mother and father concepts of a Higher Power. History tends to repeat itself. Nice to see things getting back on an even keel, thanks to the resurgance of neo-Paganism.

Well, it's kind of narrow minded to call God, mother.

Considering that we are called 'mankind' for a reason. Man was once one unit. The sexes were invented after the creation of man, making man = man and wo-man. Wo-man meaning the man with the womb.

All of language makes woman an attachment of man. Senor-senora. He -she. Because the fact is, it's man-woman. As in-taken from or added to.

The origin is the perfection of human kind, which was originally called simply 'man'. So to call God a she, is to say He is only the attachment and not the original.

just as a father in life should take care of and nurture the family so does God with his children... The bible never says that a woman is in charge... it is the man... therefore, i would believe that God too is a male figure... if i had to put a gender on him...
