Isn't it that evolution suppose to plucked out genes that are weak so it ensure the survival of the fittest? why then that we still inherit defective genes from our parents?

Wouldn't each religion have the exact same likelyhood of being the right one? Why do you hold yours closer than all the others? Does it just seem more convincing, or...?

Who is Jesus? And why should I bow down to him? WTF, I got this pamphlet left on my door knob today. Is this some sort of joke or a threat? Should I file a police report for this? It says if I don't bow down and praise "Jesus", then I will burn in the fires of hell.

I consider this a threat on my life, and am considering filing a police report. I am unsure of who left this note, but maybe they left finger prints.

When I was in foster care, I was 15 yrs. old, & one of my former foster cousins jerked a book out of my hand that I was reading, & she said, "You have NO business reading an Honors Senior in college's book! This is NOT a toy!" I thought it was my foster aunt's Psychology book. I didn't know it was hers, & if she didn't want me reading it, then why did she have it just lying around?

What is your favorite book by C. S. Lewis (besides the Chronicles of Narnia) and what do you like about it?

My favorite is The Screwtape Letters. I love how he can be so funny and yet so dead serious at the same time! Following in a close second is Mere Christianity. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the man is a genius.

Ive always wondered what does this mean. Does it mean a Christian says Jesus saved my life and Im thankful? Or a Christian who says, can I share with you my testimony today? Or is it someone who physically holds onto you and tries to talk to you against your will? Is even mentioning the name Jesus shoving it? These are not rhetorical, I am honestly curious. I would love to hear from nonchristians; especially those who this offends and find out what do you considering shoving down you throat. This sentence is thrown around alot and Id like to know for my own personal life, as to not really offend someone. Thanks!

I was brought up to believe in the Mormon faith, but I've realized there are so many other faiths and beliefs all claiming to be the right one. Also, I constantly hear alot of negative things about this faith-Some people even consider it a cult. I am beginning to feel skeptic, and so i've slowly begun losing my faith all together.

How can I know in my heart that this religion is the true, and that it will lead me into the right direction, and strengthen my relationship with God?

If not, where can I turn?

Please help me! Give me your testemony of faith-I don't care what religion you believe in- and let me know how you know for sure in that in all your heart it is correct.

i have done some simplethough and came up with this conclusion this theory with simple biology and phisics. the virgin mary gave birth as a virgin. thats just not possible. no matter what way you put it. she couldnt become pregant as a virgin and she sure as hell couldnt give birth and still be one. i think this idea provides enough simple fact for me not to beliieve in a great deal of religons. so on and on thats why i dont believe in catholicism or cristianity

My husband does, and I do not. My problem is this: Why would God use a man who wasnt even a Godly man (regardless of death bed confessions) come up with this only 130 yrs ago and it be a theory that took millions away from believing in God and/or accepting Christ. Would God have created a system that led soo many away from believing he existed? I look forward to hearing responses!

I was trying to add some people and all I got were bunches of emails from people asking who I was and a lot of things. Some people even blocked me for no reason, so I was judged wrong.
