My friend is BI & I'm straight, & many people say, "You're not BI, you're a confused lesbian." I think that's SO mean!

They don't understand it... they choose to remain ignorant to things they don't understand.

I am Bi. myself, and I've heard everything from "confused" to "promiscuous"... I'm just me.

I think that in this day in age it is VERY easy to be bi- for both genders.
It has a lot to do with how you were raised and what not, but since everything is So futuristic and were always striving for newer things, it's easy to explore with the same sex and think out of the box. The human race has gotten THIS FAR because we've tested the limits and expanded our minds. Both genders look VERY much alike and both genders offer comfort, love, etc. etc. I think you have to be pretty ignorant to insult someone that's gay or bi. It's people like that that are holding back the winners.

Both my ex-fiancee, and the girlfriend I had immediately before her, were bi.

Neither are confused about their sexuality at all, they just enjoyed relationships .... and I mean relationships not just sex .... with both sexes.

The ex-girlfriend is marrying one of my best friends next year and I couldn't be happier for both of them, she has decided that he is the person she wants to spend her life with, if it had been a female she was settling with I would have been just as happy for her, and whoever her partner was.

Myself, I'm 100% straight, but refuse to pigeon hole people because of their sexuality.

I've just had a fairly long IM chat with SweetElf, 1st chat ever (about TROLLS, and outright liars, that are affecting both of our usage/enjoyment of Y!A), and after just that one conversation I would happily introduce her to any of my friends, or my family, as a friend (sorry if you didn't want that made public Elf, but it helps make a valid point).

Sexuality counts for nothing, I also have several very good gay friends, it's the person that matters.

If people do not understand things they claim the other person is confused. I am straight and very conservative but I don't think that LGB&T people are confused. I may be a little confused by it but many gay people have explained their thoughts to me and I understand it better now.

Well...I'm bi and I'm not confused on what I like. I like both men and women...whats so confusing about that? I think people can be so mean.

I understand both sides. I once thought I was straight but would fantasize about women. Then I thought I was bisexual because I was with my high school sweetheart (male) and I would date/sleep with girls...then I realized I was gay.

I wasn't confused because I truly loved my ex and love being with women....I just didn't realize I was gay thats all.

I think you can fall in love with someone's personality not their sexuality.

Stereotypes happens through ignorance mainly.

People don't seem to know many bisexuals though to see how stupid the stereotypes are

who really give a hoot what people think?..its your life and hers aswell..let them anal MF'ers just suk booty poop and leave it at that..bi's have the ability to fall for qualities in both men and women i can't fall IN love with a man because i am a lesbian but bi's can do so..as for others telling her she is confused its just because they refuse to understand her perspective on things..more power to you both at least u know what u want..

Indeed it is. I feel it is also mean when people say you are just straight who likes to have sex with the same sex. I have been in a monogamous romantic relationship with my boyfriend for 2 years. We are engaged and I don't feel the need to cheat with a womea.

I don't think Anne Heche helped. It is also true that a lot of young women and some young men will say they are "bi" but it seems they are saying it just to be "cool."
