John 14: 1-7

1DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.
2In My Father's house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.
3And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.
4And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.
5Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?
6Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.
7If you had known Me [had learned to recognize Me], you would also have known My Father. From now on, you know Him and have seen Him.

In religion class a kid said(that looked into Hinduism) that Jesus is significant in your religion...

Can you elaborate how? He said that some hindus believe that Jesus was a messanger of the shining father(I know there is a hindu word for it but I can't remember)...

Is that true? Is Jesus significant in Hinduism, or atleast some sects of it?

Are such claims valid according to how you define spiritualism? If not a spiritual experience, then what?

I met a gentleman who had an interesting outlook on spiritualism and his personal spiritual life. He admitted to me it all came to him during an acid trip. His conclusions made some sense too. What's your opinion on such revelations?

Did God tell Adam, Abraham, Moses, Solomon, David, etc., about his son Jesus? It seems there is no mentioning of Jesus in the Old Testament at all? I remember only when Jesus was baptized, God declared that Jesus was his son. Any comment?

The other day I went to my local organic food co-op and so many of the customers and even the checkers act like snobs. Sometimes they seem like a religion and if you aren't wearing your birkenstoks and your tie dyed t-shirt they look at you like you are an alien from another planet. I think there is alot of fear based in this behavior (any form of snobbery). Fear of what is different, fear of someone getting a one up on them...What is the spiritual lesson in snobbery?

I see it as praying ceaselessly to G-d by praising Him, thanking Him, confessing to Him, and asking Him for help.

Praying ceaselessly is not easy to do (I think). How do you all see this subject?

If soul is formless, then shouldn't all the souls unite and form a giant soul after death? I mean you can count something when it has a form, but does formless soul has a number? If yes, then how's that possible? And if there's only one soul, then what's the difference between all the people and god? We should all have the same soul in that way. And if soul has a form, what is it?

They push their belief that people evolved from monkeys, but they won't allow prayer in schools. Why the double standard? Kids should be taught the truth, which is clearly stated in the Bible, that we was created by God!

First, I'd like to say that I'm not arguing for any specific point, or trying to prove anything. I'm just wondering what you think.

Without natural selection, how did the human race change into many different races and colors, coming from only two people? How did we change to be the way we are, so that people are suited to live in different climates?

I'm just wondering how you think this occurs. If you think that it is caused by natural selection, does it seem reasonable that natural selection could produce different species?

Hi, I started wicca 3 1/2 years ago. And the first book I ever picked up was "Teen witch" By silver ravenwolf. and ever since then I was so devoted to Wicca, but I found out recently that Silver Raven wolf is a fake. I've read all her books. It was so much fun to read, then I copied her spells and rituals word-4-word into my BOS. I did her rites. I used her spells, then I moved on to scott cunningham, and after i read Silver's books, I found him to be so boring, and also since then I hated christians for being so cruel to other faiths. She teaches people to hate. and i fell right into it.

I can't believe i fell into her trap. I feel like a disgrace to all witches.

We are having a contest in our office for the best pumpkin. One rule, we are not allowed to carve them at all. I won the first year with cinderella's carriage, but lost last year with a pink flamingo. Anyone have any ideas on what we can turn our pumpkin into without carving it?? Suggestions on how to creat the idea with our pumpkin will be helpful as well.
