We are having a contest in our office for the best pumpkin. One rule, we are not allowed to carve them at all. I won the first year with cinderella's carriage, but lost last year with a pink flamingo. Anyone have any ideas on what we can turn our pumpkin into without carving it?? Suggestions on how to creat the idea with our pumpkin will be helpful as well.

I really hate painted pumpkins. But since this is an office thing and I'm guessing they'll probably be up for a while, I'll make an exception in this case. Try the following picture concerning Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman. It's William J. Wilgus's "Ichabod Crane, Respectfully Dedicated to Washington Irving."

Get one of those tiny pumpkins then go to the toy dept of walmart and look in the doll section for a "zoot suit" (with the fedora hat). Paint a face on your pumpkin. Stuff the suit with pillow stuffing. Make some kind of base for it so it stands on its own. Attach your pumpkin to the suit (wearing the hat) and give it lots of "bling". It can be a "halloween pimpkin".

You could get some cool needles and pins and stick them into the pumpkin in a design or picture, you'd be puncturing the pumpkin, but not carving it.

What about doing a painting on the fort of your boss or one of the co worker's heads?
