I come here randomly, and often I find trolls and jerks. There is one poster who asked aobut blocking and he is now being targeted by somebody who assumable has a lot of time on their hands by making accounts in the hopes to get him suspended. I like his asnwers and questions.
Why the hate in this section by people other than trolls?

There are a lot of insecurities in this section. These insecuritites lead to fear. Which, without sounding like a star wars cliche, leads to hate.

I am THE most hated in this section - I second to trolls for some reason. I also agree with Jake 100%. He hit it on the head.

This is the nice people section of the bus. Occasionally the nasty sorts find their way to the party and want to poo on it.
No worries. 99.99% of these folks are charming, delightful, intuitive and funny. Just what we are all here for.

The only reason they give you and us a bad time on here is casue they dont like us cause we are different and there is nothing wrong with being different! people are scared of whats different or seeing different people and the different thing WE DO! I am PROUD of being bi-sexual and of who and what i am! I enjoy it and love it!

Unfortunately some of these very same 'trolls' are also top contributors and have a relatively good rep. They play these false persona's with malicious intent, then blame 'those homophobic trolls' for everything.
Don't buy the rhetoric.

I love gay's and transgenders. I have gay relatives. I have nothing against them. You are who you are. Why listen to people like that and trust me it's not only this section that people are rude and mean.
