I don't think the general view is limited to atheists, but wouldn't it be better if all of just thought the same on morals?

According to prominent creation scientist Em Adjineri (say it out loud) there are no new fossils being created. The proof of this is that the world is running out of coal and oil. We will have none left in 50 years.

Coal and oil are fossil fuels, made from fossils. If we were still making fossils, we wouldn't run out of coal and oil, because we could always just turn the new fossils into fuel. Therefore, new fossils are not being made naturally.

This proves that old fossils were not made naturally either. The only explanation is that Satan put them there to trick humans for his own amusement. He tricks humans with science to turn them away from God.

How do you explain that, fossilutionists?

Basically, he believes that homosexuality is handled badly by a majority of Christians, but that it's still a "sin". He says "Though many will try to say otherwise, and there are SOME cases which contradict, but a large part of the homosexual community came to have these feelings through circumstance, much of the time not in their own control. Impressionable children who don't have a father figure, or are abused. Dysfunctional families. Rape or molestation."

What are your thoughts?
(And remember - this is very much not my own opinion.)

my father just passed away on aug 1.2007,and my son had a dream of him the other day. and my son is 9,and my son could not make this up because he would never in a million years say what my dad said to him. so i actually think my dad spoke to him, that being said he told him something that when my son told us we would believe he told him from the other side, and if he said granpa said to me in a dream he misses us that would be like oh thats nice son but he didnt get that,my dad told him" tommy do you know the pictures of jesus, well he doesnt look like that at all"... i found this very comforting and i was amazing and still heart felt by it,and do you agree that my son could not have made this up and do you believe? if you dont i hope that this may inspire 1 person to believe in jesus and to believe that there is life after death,i have other awesome stories about angels leaving dimes too and it didnt happen until someone told me it and i have over 10 dimes from dad,no pen, nicks,or qua

Do you feel that Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron are giving Christians a bad name?

for example:
Their banana and watchmaker and crocoduck garbage is UNDENIABLE evidence that the theory of evolution is a farce according to those two. Then seeing any semi-intelligent person find fault in their claims.

I post an article that has to do with a person who values morality and does not want his city a haven, regardless if it is homosexuals or straight who want to have sex in public bathrooms! Because the Homosexual Agenda is so Political we have a Hate Speech bill that will silence the church and people FOR MORALITY that want to convey a message of DECENCY!
The worst HATE MESSAGE is living in a society that states morality is how you define it...
Who in there right mind thinks meeting a stranger in a Beach Bathroom Stall for a trist, is the thing to do!
Would you want that permitted in your city????

Okay, so there's this chick who lives on my street. I always had a crush on her. She's hot.
BUT...
I swear, I thought she was white, but she's Latina.
I had no idea.
She looks like a regular white girl to me, but I just found out yesterday she's fully Mexican.

I am not being racist of judgemental, but this seriously tripped me out. Come on, you guys, you would be weirded out too.
She speaks very OC, if you know what I mean, and her blonde hair is actually natural, ocean blue eyes.

I found out when I went to her house and had dinner with the rest of the family. I guess they do look a bit more true to their roots, but she doesn't.

Any of you had friends like this? Neighbors?

Again, sorry if I sound narrow or whatever, but I was just real wowed.

I blame Rose for Jack's death. See, if she had stayed on that life boat he could have climbed up on that bit of wood in the end and he wouldn't have hypothermiated

On the one hand, her choice to abandon the life boat is totally illogical because if she loved him so much that she can't live without him, she could always decide to kill herself later. But on the other hand, the choice works out for her because it causes Jack's death and rather than have to risk spending a long, mundane life with him and watch him get fat, grow old or even possibly cheat on her, she has the rest of her life to romantically reminisce about what could have been.

(I've had this question in my mind for a while, but SisterZeal's recent Q has prompted me to finally ask it.)

Just curious, is there anyone here who considers themselves racist? I know there are people out there who consider this a good thing, I'm not getting at anyone, just curious.

I don't understand how Christians can think humanity is in such a rotten place, when you consider how much progress we've made: People live longer than ever before, we have better food, shelter, etc, all because of human invention. We build dams and siesmographs and lightening rods to protect us from the wrath of God. Basically everything enjoyable in your life, including people, plants and animals, have been altered in some positive way by humanity.
I've read projections that in 50 years, the GDP in Africa will likely rise to the level enjoyed by western countries today. So, given all that we've accomplished, esp considering the crappy start, how about giving humanity a little credit, Christians?!

Would you still appreciate his teachings. I mean if you took away the rewards of heaven and the punishment of hell, and just kept the morals.
Would you?
