God hasn't been shown to do anything that science cannot explain better. Everything a believer sees as an act of god can have a perfectly scientific and non-supernatural reason.

For example, out of body experiences and near death experiences have been used by people of faith as evidence for god or the soul. However, science has recently explained this as a completely natural part of the brain. These experiences can be induced by seizures, drugs and have been explained to be completely nurological. Any other explanations have either no evidence, or are based on assumptions - and in this case we use occams razor.
