There is no book better than the Bible.
I liked 2 male oriented books on God's will for us...
1.) "A Purpose Filled Life" (although it was not perfect) which I studied in Promise Keepers Bible Studies,
2.) and ... "The Coach in your Corner" that was used at my Assembly for mid-week bible studies and a series of sermons ... a sports-illustrations book on the Holy Spirit's guidance (linked below)...

Chuck Swindoll wrote one about determining God's will for your life, but it's kind of dry in spots. A few good chapters in it though. Plug in his name on amazon (Charles Swindoll) and you'll find it.
I'm currently reading books by Don Miller and Rob Bell. Both two good sources on spirituality minus the religion, although they don't touch base on God's will very much.
Max Lucado is another good one. Cure for the Common Life, I think it's called?

"So You Call Yourself A Man" By T.D. Jakes
This book causes me to evaluate myself as a dad, husband, brother, son, nearly every time I read it. It is a devotional. I highly recommend it to the serious Christian man.

I haven't read any books like the one you are looking for, but those websites are for ministries that I know and trust. I know that they both will have books like that one you want. You can make purchases online.
If you need any other help, let me know.
