No, we do not want to kill them. For instance, if a Jew child came to me and bought an ice cream, would I go and stab a knife at him because he is a Jew? Of course not. Muslims respect the Jews and Christians and refer to them as the "People of the Book" in the Qur'an for having receiving the Scriptures from God.

No Verse in the Qur'an says Muslims must kill Jews. Remember, when the Jews were facing prosecution from the Ferdinand and Isabella, Muslims in Turkey offered them protection. If indeed there was a Verse saying Muslim must kill Jews, then not one single Jew would be alive today. And not any Jew would be alive today had it not been for the tolerance of Muslims in the past.

You are referring to what is now happening in Israel-Palestine. That is done by Zionists, and injustice, cruelty has been inflicted upon Palestinians. To this, many Muslims bear hatred toward Zionism for its cruelty and its support from its allies. I guess this was what caused 9/11.

May Allah S.W.T guide us all.

All muslims want to kill and torture, rape, dismember, decapitate enslave all peoples of the world who are not muslim. This is what the Koran teaches. They are not a religion but a radical brutal cult of murderers. They especially hate Christians but also jews. Also jews actually hate Christians and will persecute them also if they get the chance. Christianity, not Catholicism, is the only religion that teaches love and forgiveness to all people.

Are you kidding??? Of course not! I was a Jew and so was my friend. We loved the Muslims and went to live in their lands (I am an American by the way). My friend always told me that he had an inner feeling that Mulsims were the chosen people of God; and not the Jews. I found out that as well, and so both of us studied Islam; only to convert to that great religion after that.

Muslim countries are among the safest in the whole world (forget Iraq and Afghanistan that are fighting against foreign presence on their own soil). I saw myriads of Israelis in Egypt and Jordan and they were welcomed by the locals and even invited for food and stay.

Those who say yes to your question really don't know what they're talking about...

Salam (Peace)!

No. No matter who you are, Islam says a life is very precious. Violence is prohibited unless in life-threatening situations (like the war in Palestine where they are trying to liberate themselves against Zionist terrorism). To those who use violence as solution for irrational reasons (suicide bombers and hijackers); "Stop shielding yourself behind JIHAD! God won't accept terrorists in His heaven!"

Funfact: If there is a Christian living in your area, you must build him a chapel. If your area is under attack, you must fight to protect everyone including the Christian and Jews.

That's the real Islam. I condemned those who had burnt down churches and temples for revenge. Even those who were responsible for destroying the Buddha statue. Those people did not fulfill their obligation in Islam which is to show respect to other religions as well..

Jews used to flee from Europe during times of persecution to Muslims lands, crusades etc.

In fact one of the Israeli presidents said that there was two times in history that Jews made real progression, one is in Israel and the other was during Muslim Spain.

This dislike for Jews is due to the state of Israel, especially amongst Arabs.

No, its not in the Quran the only things thats even remotely related is that we are told to take them as protectors.

No dear we don't wish to kill Jews or kill people of any faith

“God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes. God loves just dealers.” (Quran 60:8)

A true Muslim would know that the right to taking a life only belongs to Allah. Only extremists and ignorant people would say such a thing, and all are hypocrites. Also, don't listen to anyone who misquotes the Quran and puts it out of context. Anyone can copy n paste things from Islam hate sights and try to prove themselves right, when in fact they are not. The Quran does not permit killing. Any other verses you see were sent down to the Prophet for times of war, or when he was already in a war.

Don't let the media or other people define what you believe about a certain faith, read the Quran yourself and make your own opinion.

well not muslims, arabs. it all goes back to the story of abraham. God(yaweh) had promised abraham a son, which was Isaac but abraham didnt feel like waiting so he slept with his maid and had ishmael(it may seem akward but it wasnt weird to do that back then if it was to have a son). so it turns out that ishmaels sons are what we call today arabs. and isaac sons are jews, and God had promised abraham a nation, through isaac. and thats were the conflict comes in. arabs think that they the ones with the promise, but the jews are the promised. so in a way yea arabs want to kill the jews because they want their land back, which never belonged to the arabs cuz according to the torah, the jews were promised the land from the euphrates river to present day israel

Not your friendly, normal, educated and peaceful Muslim neighbor. However, all those stirred up Muslim fundamentalists who have a paranoid hatred against anyone different from them. Not only Jews but any Christians or other religious groups. But mainly Jews and Whites. Mind you, the Koran has been influenced and contains dogmas from Jewish and Christian scriptures.

I understand this quote is from the hadith and not the koran but still the hadith is accepted by the majority of muslims.

The Day of Resurrection will not arrive until the Muslims make war against the Jews and kill them, and until a Jew hiding behind a rock and tree, and the rock and tree will say: 'Oh Muslim, Oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him
