"seek me and you shall find me". the creationist don't seem to want that! one day the church and science will come to the same conclusion. why is so hard for us to see that creationism and evolution do not contradict each other, if you understand that the bible was written in a way that people could understand at the time.

Yesterday in the train God told me:

'Don't worry, be happy!! '
'In every life we have some trouble...'
'But when you worry about hell and heaven, you make things double!'

but I told him:

'I aint got no cash. I ain't got no style '

but God laughed and said:

'Don't worry because when you worry your face will frown and that will bring everybody down!'

He jumped off his seat and left through the window.

how is it that every shread of proof we show to you, you wind up forgeting about it and saying we never show you any proof
if there is no proof in god than disprove how many thousands of miracles happened for one explain padre pio he had the stigmata which jesus also had and logical reasoning to this is what and how is it that any person who would inflict those wounds on themselves would have bleed out in about 4 hours and he wound up living with them for years while they were constantly bleeding can anyone tell me how he survived with those wounds for years?

Why do people hate the Mormon so much? I know that it's normal human behavior to hate and fear things you don't understand, but sometimes it gets ridiculous. I think it's mostly misinformation. For example: We don't practice polygamy anymore, we don't demean women in any way, shape or form, we don't worship Joseph Smith, and we DON'T do human sacrifice or have horn (I have no idea who started those...)

I heard that when blackbeard was finally captured after his last bloody battle, his head was cut off, and they through his headless body in the water, which it then swam around the boat 7 times before finally sinking. They then took his head and hung it up high at the entrance of some harbor for all to see. The brethren of the coast then recovered his head and then made a silver plated goblet out of the top part of his skull. Come on now, that makes a great story but what really happened?

I am not really sure about what the Sabbath is, but now one of my girlfriends is practicing The Sabbath and wanted me to come along one Saturday instead of a Sunday, which is when I go to Church. So she says, you can come, but you MUST wear a skirt or a dress. I told her, I don't think so....God does not care what we wear to church as long as we are there for him. Am I right or wrong? She tells me men have changed everything about woman, how they dress, how they think, what they should or should not wear. She says a real woman wears skirts and dresses and heels! What a crock I told her, nobody tells me what the heck to wear. I told her I did not want to go and she says, ok, you can wear pants! What??

He suggested that in the same way as two monopoly-board characters would fall off a basketball if you span it, people should do the same and fall off the earth. The only reason real people don't fall off the earth is God.

Quite clearly not understanding that the basketball was too small to exert enough of it's own gravitation force upon the figures, he highlights a fundamental flaw in some people - education.

Does anyone else find people coming up with arguements against general science and evolution with uneducated ideas like this? It boggles the mind!

I'm "waiting" [[not a def thing but we kinda know im doing it]] for a guy who is out on his mission for two years, its been 9 months and were still doing well, but im not a LDS, yet hes not bothered about that, he talks about our furture and jokes or hints that were get married.. should I keep waiting? Its so hard, I just wanted to know if there are any SUCESS stories that you've heard of know of from RMs [[returned missionaries]] we dated 7 months before he went away and im not his gf cause hes on a mission were "in love" really and we send each other stuff and i get a roughly 3 page letter nearly every week without fail. Hes the only LDS in his family so do you reckon he will WANT a def temple marriage or will he sway a bit because of his background and family and maybe go for a church wedding .. we all want eternal marriage but wouldnt you prefer to be with the one you love?.. I know its alot to think about and it might not even work out.. i know.. but still.. Thanks x

The moslems claim that Mahaommad is the greates and last prophet. They accept Jesus as a prophet to. But Mahommad contradicted Jesus on all the essential points. Jesu said, "Iam the way the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but through me." Yet Mahommad offers another way, Isam. Now just who is right ? Jesus or Mahommad ? (Please don't say it all comes down to interpretation, as this is a black or white question)

I really don't get it. If you don't want to have an abortion, then okay. But why would you think it should be illegal for everyone? I think it would be better to have an abortion than to have a child you don't want or have the ability to nuture and provide for. And its not like human population is on the decline. Overpopulation is the real concern, isn't it?

Somebody please explain to me the strict pro-life point of view.

To answer each and every question concerning the Shia, Sunni Muslim differences carefully and politly. As to not increase the differences between us but to unite and become one. Some questions intentionally or not, aim to divide us and make us hate each other, we must watch out, and be carefull.
