oh god yes. Every night it is the smell of garlic and curry! Blah. I just wanna go cut a fart in their house and see if they would like to smell that. But sometimes their food smells like that too so maybe they wouldn't even notice.

OMG YES. The lady upstairs loves to cook cabbage and the lady next door cooks alot of Mexican food. My f'ing house smells horrible because the smells sticks to the carpet and the furniture, i by more fa'breeze than food. For goodness sake if they just open a window while they're cooking i wouldn't be so unconvinced.

properly it relies upon on what area of India your neighbor is from...North or South Indian? maximum Indian dishes have garlic, ginger, onion, pepper, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and then as quickly because it somewhat is all fried up in a pan, the greens are further...any veggie would be utilized, okra, cabbage, cauliflour, potatoes, and so on. specifically situations, some Indians use methi (funugreek) which has a great reliable scent that lasts for days. I propose you placed funds into some febreeze...or extra useful get circulate try some Indian food, the scent would no longer be that great, yet Indian food is somewhat reliable.

God yes I do. My husband and I live in flats so when we open our front door into the foyer you can sometimes smell others cooking- which is fine, except one of our neighbours has a slight obsession with garlic.

Once she made something that honestly smelt like cooked poo- I was retching it was so awful! She also has the audacity to leave her rubbish bags out in the foyer too (not only do they smell but they're a fire hazard).

I feel for you!

everyone has a right to cook what they want in their own homes so you can't really stop that but if there is a smell that is really irritating you then all you could do is open a window or use an electric air freshener they work really well.
i like all kinds of food so it wouldn't bother me much

Sometimes I think the people next door cook road kill. But they probably don't think much of my cooking either. All you can do is laugh.

My neighbor routinely grills some kind of nasty fish and it stinks up the whole neighborhood! There is nothing you can do about it.
