we are suppose to love everyone -or have you been reading out of a different text?
Being in love with someone of the same gender does not mean one will not be accepted, that's like saying if I don't love someone of the opposite gender I will no doubt go to heaven. Read the text fully and closely with regards to the so called abomination, then show me the same for the female its not there interesting aint' it.
Besides bible scholars have agreed it is not just loving someone or being in love it is a particular act, that fewer people engage in than one might think, and I might ad more heteros do this with their wives than do many of the alternative lifestyles

Some religions do think that, but it is really up to you and what your opinion is. Some people don't even think that there is a god. Personally no I think that if you love someone you can't really help it. Like having blue eyes or blonde hair. It's just the way you are.

Well there's two ways to look at it. One, when you are in love, the last thing on your ind is God. It is the person you are in love with. Another way to lok at it is that there is no love only expressions of God. By expressing love you are expressing God. So if you have accepted God, it only follows that God has accepted you.

I do not believe that same sex relationships are natural. How ever, there are many other things we do as human beings that is not acceptable to God, like destroying our health with over eating, drugs, lack of sleep, etc. So, God will also listen to the prayers of homosexuals, no matter what.

to answer kitykat... read your bible before you say "its up to you" dont speak for God..
His word says that he loves the person(us)
not the sin
we have a choice to make.period and God desires that we choose Him; not gay/les.

If you truly choose God then you Will leave your sinful life like a bad habit>>you wont desire that habit again.
you do choose who you love' you do choose your life style ' you do choose to sin' and you can choose Not to sin.
Sin will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven
I personally dont think God will change the rules because two people love each other and they are really good people. Good dont get you into heaven, Repentance of Sin thru JC gets you into Heaven.

Jesus said that if you loved Him, you would obey His commandments. If we want to seek God, then we have to count the cost and the cost may very well be to give up those things we now count most dear.

God has told us He will change who we are, our very being/character, and not just our behavior. We have to accept that before we even begin to seek Him.

God is love, love is a divine act. In my book the only divine act, be it platonic or sexual. To say God rejects any act of love is to say God rejects a part of self. I would like to know how God can reject a part of God.

First of all, it's a shortminded view to think that every gay person wants to be accepted by your "God", but let's assume that there's only one diety everyone worships.

Then, I don't think so. They're put down here by "HIM", aren't they? Then aren't they part of the whole fabric of the earth?

XOXO

It depends on the person and their beliefs. Personally, I don't think homosexuals should be unaccepted by anyone. It's your personal choice, we're all people, equal.
