There's been a guy I've met in 8th grade who turned out to be one of the most annoying ppl I've ever met. He has to turn every conversation into a debate and has a quick mouth, while I'm more on the talk less-do more personality side. He and I have been academic competitors from the start but he's always taken the competition so personal as to turn it into a grudge with me. I've developed a hatred for his arrogant demeanor and difficulty of personality (we really don't click at all - I can't even stand looking at him). After 10th grade, he went to a different school and I was relieved, but now I found that he is going to the same college as I am. How should I deal with this situation in college as I want to put the past behind me and move on but stupid fate or something else keeps on putting me and him on the same track. It seems like I can never get away from him. I don't want to talk with him, but I fear in college he'll continue to hold a stupid grade school grudge.

he employs 3 active Jehovah's Witnesses. Since these three individuals would consider him apostate and bad associationif they knew his religious past, and since JWs are not to associate with those who've left "The Organization," here are a few questions that arise:

1 - Should the JWs quit their jobs since they're not to have anything to do with apostate ex-JWs??
2 - How should they conduct themselves during their annual reviews? Should they shun their boss and not make eye contact?
3- Should they refuse their annual increase?
4 - Should he fire them?

I just moved to this University in a new town, and I don't know anyone. I've been trying to make friends and all that, but I'm just not a very social kind of person.
So, I've tried one of these dating phone chat line things. I get to talking with some girls, and even guys, because I just want a FRIEND, and over time, the conversation turns to sexual matters. Now, I believe in honesty first and foremost, and especially if I'm going to set myself up on a blind date, I want to let the person know that I am a transsexual (I still sound kinda like a girl though over the phone, so people get the WROOONG impression) And, when I say that to people, even before they've seen or met me, they then don't want to, and I get blown off, and rejected...even though 5 minutes earlier, we were having a great conversation and they were DYING to meet me. *sighs* I just can't understand why things like having or NOT having a penis is such a big freakin' deal anyway.

Last year I started looking at Christmas magazines and such in autumn so by the time December rolled around I was sort of Christmassed out already. This year I'm doing my shopping really early (I've already gotten a good start) in the hopes of getting all done and packed away and then forgetting about it until December. Will this work? Anyone tried it?

I can't leave everything 'till the last minute, but I can't start too early. So how do I avoind Christmas burn out?

If Adam and Eve sinned why is it that we have to suffer in child bearing?,....what does eating a apple have to do with hiding our private parts and having terrible child bearing pains?,.......why is this sin so emphasised on or genitals?, or was there something else going on in the garden that would cause us to cover our private parts?, why would we feel ashamed of our private parts if we only ate a dumb apple or a fruit?. Why??? recently i had an argument with my best friend, i decided to open up and tell her who i really was and that i didnt like the same music tha she liked. She likes Tpain and all the others, i would prefer different. She called me an idiot, amd said that what i like isnt real music. Why do i have to be a clone to be accepted, that music its not me....... its not who i am, why does it matter though? Just because i am differnet why should anyone want to label me? I used to be really religious and planned on saving myself for my future spouse. But now I'm an atheist. Anyway, I was wondering if I should wait till marriage anyway, I think I would perfer that. But I don't know if the person I am dating would get frustrated. Should I just get in bed if my girlfriend asks? I'm so confused. And I'm 18.
