Hi, I have found myself under the influence of a witches binding.

Despite our own attempts we could not get it undone and he refuses to undo it.

What can be done?

Become a christian and cast that "ish" out! LOL!

Seriously, I have no idea what this means, but, I am a christian and I don't worry about that kinda stuff. I don't think it holds any sway over me because I have God on my side. Not to offend your beliefs if you have them, but I think that occult stuff shouldn't be dabbled in as it opens gateways to spiritual things we don't really understand (demons). Will probably get a lot of thumbs down for this answer, but yeah, that is my belief.

What evidence do you have that an external force such as a "binding" is having a real, demonstrable effect on your life? How do you know that he isn't just trying to scare you? If there is some actual effect, first disprove the possibilities of a) confirmation bias (meaning, you only notice bad things because you're looking for them. They would have happened anyway, but you wouldn't have remembered them as significant) b) nocebo effect (the opposite of the placebo effect. You expect bad things to happen, so they do) and c) non-supernatural means by which this guy may be interfering to create the illusion that it's a "binding". Only after thoroughly considering these wholly non-supernatural possibilities can you even begin to know for sure that there's a supernatural explanation.

As mentioned, bindings are different from curses. If you're bound, it will only mean you can't do harm. Which isn't such a bad thing, esp. if you and the witch in question have some bad blood. If you meant a curse, that's a horse of a different colour.

I'm not above quoting fantasy books myself if they say it well. "The most professional curse ever snarled or croaked or thundered can have no effect on a pure heart." The Last Unicorn. This is essentially true.

Curses work the same way other magic works. A Contact spell, for example, sends out feelers across the chaotic systems. Alot like a computer match up. If the potential person/s you are interested in meeting is also interested, as some of your energy is going along with it, you both work together to pull the chaos strings so that you will both meet up in an appropriate location and time for you to pursue an acquaintance. Rather like your 'ppl' and their 'ppl' calling a meeting. It is a two way street.

Curses are much the same. It is a two way street between the curser and cursee. The curser has decided that you really need a kick in the *** for something, and sends out feelers. Your energy comes in contact with them, and if your own guilt, that is, your own inner Goddess of Vengeance, decides that you must be punished, she and you use that energy as well as your own to create the curse effect. Rather like a karmic string tied around your finger to remind you of this guilt, which you might not have remembered otherwise, or not gotten to it as quickly. Which is why someone must go to the trouble of cursing you in the first place, and why a curse has no effect on a pure heart. No self-need for punishment, no curse.

The efficacy of curses are fueled by your own personal belief that you should be punished. It is activated only by your own sense of guilt, over something you have done or not done. It does not have to be related in any way to the reason for the curse. And this is the crucial part. It also does NOT even have to justified. It is ONLY your own perception of guilt and the desire for punishment that manifests the Curse. Your physic subconscious has been alerted by the curse to some perceived guilt and has taken it upon Herself to punish you. Even if no one else would believe that you deserve it for the particular issue that you are hung up on. That is the only way curses work.

So it begs the question. Why did you curse yourself?

Meditation, purification and reaffirmation of self are almost always enough to 'undo' negative energy like what you're talking about. Other measure might be necessary but I'd need to know more details in order to advise any further. Ping me an email if you like.

Bindings are simply meant to stop someone from doing something harmful to the witch or someone he cares about. They are not meant as curses. If it has been used as a curse, he's due for a karmic ***** slap, so don't worry and don't retaliate in like manner. Perform a ritual to dissipate this, or pray to your diety to get rid of it. If you are not religious, keep telling yourself it isn't real and through the power of your own mind it will most likely go away.

Witches usuall;y cast binding spellswhen they are being harrassed or bothered. If this is the case then you are only bound from harming the person who put the spell on you.

The only times I've known bindings to a person was to prevent them from doing harm. Find out why they felt the need to do it and it might help you undo it. Maybe it was justified in their mind?

Curses and bindings are primarily self fulfilling, it works because you believe that it does.
Conduct a ritual to rid your self of these ideas and move on with your life.
