It is quite easy, in fact, as my collegues would make life very difficult for me were my alter ego made public. It just becomes a very natural part of your daily routine. I do not feel that it is being untrustworthy but rather it is not of anyone's business what I do with my private life. That is personal to me and I shall share that with whomever I wish and otherwise keep it private to all others. Just because it is not your way does not make it wrong. As long as we do not hurt another, it's all good.

Well that's like the married couple who lies to thier spouse that they are faithful but one or both are having an affair. like you said "how can they be trusted on any level?" Only when it comes to the homosexual situation, I think it's a little different because of the stigma in some societies attached with homosexuality. I mean in the neighborhood I grew up in if a guy was openly gay you be sure that he would not live long, he would be beatin to death, and probably raped by those who those who kill him for being what they don't want to admit they are to themselves. Also, everyone has something in thier closet that they are not letting out, whether it's their sexuality, or some bigoted feelings about another race, or sex, or even something as simple as sleeping with a night light. No one tells their whole story honey.

I have found that these people whom do this to themselves only hurt themselves in the long run. How they live with their actions is another story entirely. Yes, they CAN be trusted. Although, like most people, trust must be earned as well as returned too. For some who act this way, it's a self defense mechanism that they aren't truly aware of. For others like this, it's because they don't want the world to feel threatened by their difference to the rest of the world. And that world usually incorporates the working world by the way.

Well, I'm not going to defend that, but I'm going to try to justify it.
People are very afraid of coming out. And although it's not an excuse, trust me, they're paying for it on the inside. I know when I went through that phase I was at my lowest point ever. So I guess the answer is they're NOT living with themselves.
I don't agree with it, but I understand the necessity. I wish EVERYONE gay could be out! Wouldn't it be fab? XOXO

Straight by Light and Gay at Night....sounds like a gay vampire novel....lol
I understand what you are saying....I don't think that I could fully trust someone that does this....but in the same breath...I could understand why they do it....I think that it would depend on the person themselves and how well I know them.
DAMNIT Denny....well, I guess great minds think alike...lol

Straight in the day and gay at night? Sounds like a queer vampire. lol
Actually, I know people who are like that, I have no idea how they deal with it either. I'm glad I came out when I was 16. The rest of my life, while not easier, made it easier to deal with.

You know your sexuality doesn't have to be worn on your sleeve. Just because a person is not openly obviously gay doesn't mean they are hiding either life - it just means they are not DISPLAYING their life to everyone!

can you blame them with the way most of society treats them? its sad but true, the majority of society hates and shuns them, people say hateful things and attack them in open public. i think they CAN be trusted, they are just looking of for themselves and each other
