Yes, I was raised to have manners, plz, T.U. Sorry. All that. Now, I am getting upset at the people who DON'T have manners. Please be honest in answering this.

Should I stop being polite, because they say if you do use manners you are wasting your time and rude people don't know what they mean because mom and dad never taught them. Why should I waste my breath and time?

In the Bible, we read that the apostle Paul clearly said that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

I don't know about you, but the word ALL includes the Pope for the Pope is human.

Why do Catholics think the Pope is WITHOUT sin?

I say we are all sinners.

Your view?

I'm Italian and I have pretty dark skin, it sure as hell is not white. I think that Italians should be considered Hispanic if anything because we have a lot more in common with Spanish people than British and the Italian and Spanish languages are very similar. Any1 agree?????

I've been in this section for a few weeks now and something has been at the back of my mind, waiting for an answer, so I'd appreciate your personal input.

If you are an atheist, you do not believe in God, correct? This is in contrast to agnostics, who aren't sure. So if you are an atheist and do not believe in God, why would you spend any time at all at YA answering/asking questions about God? Or perhaps a better way of asking is, why do you have any interest in these Qs&As at all?

I don't mean to be rude or sound silly, but I was thinking about this last night, and I thought, if I didn't believe in something, for example, Mormonism, then I wouldn't have the first bit of interest in going to a Mormon blogsite and chatting with them. Unless of course, I was trying to learn as much as I could about Mormons in order to convert one....

Just wondering if you could give me some insight. Thanks!

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet you with the traditional Islamic greeting, 'Assalamu Alaikum', (Peace be upon you), this greeting represents the sincere effort of the faithful to spread love and tolerance among all people, whatever their language, belief, or social system.

Common misconceptions about Islam and Religious Tolerance
I would like first to begin by dispelling some of the misconceptions that have clouded the understanding of many Christians and westerners alike concerning Islam. Many believe that Islam was spread by the sword, and that Islam is synonymous with oppression, coercion and the denial of basic rights and freedoms. Furthermore, many western nations equate Islam with intolerance and extremism. Even well-educated non-Muslim thinkers, politicians, and clergymen, have persisted in clinging to this negative and erroneous image.

I asked this question earlier, as well as gave my own answer as to why I have decided to revert to Islam. Instead of receiving real answers, I receieved many rude comments and such.

Please spare me the insulting and judgemental "answers" this time. I want the stories of my reverted brothers and sisters! :-)

They all claim that the others are wrong

How about those that never heard. Or like Jesus said,"forgive them for they know not what they do". If some truly know not what they do, even after hearing the Gospel, AND THE GOOD NEWS, then why would God send them to hell? They know not. And if you truly knew then who would turn away, except through not truly knowing? It makes no sense that anyone that knows the truth of what the Bilble means that any one would turn away, UNLESS THEY TRULY DID NOT KNOW! How can anyone judge justly. Even God calls them ignorant. Why send them to hell for not knowing. Or send only some to hell and some to heaven for not knowing. Is that right? To much drama! I can see why people turn away, because Christians do not have an answer for the truth that is in them, just excuses, and the old faithful answer, just have faith brother. No! God gave us a brain and I, like all, have a right to answers. Be like the bereans, study and give a better answer than faith. Please! know your Bible. It sais to have one.
