I think he is the greatest minister ever. I truly believe that he speaks as Christ would have spoken. Why do so many people call him a false prophet? I think the people calling him a false prophet are full of hate and have not the love of christ flowing through them.

To most non-scientists a theory is just a guess or something that scientists want to be true even though there are no supporting facts. Few realize that a theory has survived the test of time and has yet to be proven incorrect. A theory is one step away from a law. Gravity is a theory, are we going to say it isn't true since it is a theory? I always see people on here saying evolution is just a "theory" so therefore it probably isn't true. Well if it is a theory in science, it has sufficient evidence supporting it. Not to mention, the creationist view is not even scientifical, so if you say evolution is "just" a theory, then creationism is just wishful thinking.

Anyway, I am just wondering why people say evolution is "just a theory" so therefore I won't believe it since it isn't "fact".

If you ask me, it's been different things. Growing up in the west isn't something I really like, but I have no choice. I've had problems with religion, drugs, sex ( this is worse ) , and ect. But, I stayed away from all those things and haven't done anything bad, and stayed to the path of Islam. But, I mentioned those things because they are what bothered me. Whats bothering you and biggest challenge to you as of yet?

Salam Alaikum.

A letter published in Nature in 1998 reported a survey suggesting that belief in a personal God or afterlife was at an all-time low among the members of the U.S. National Academy of Science, only 7.0% of whom believed in a personal God as compared to more than 85% of the general U.S. population.[95] In the same year Frank Sulloway of MIT and Michael Shermer of California State University conducted a study which found in their polling sample of "credentialed" U.S. adults (12% had Ph.Ds and 62% were college graduates) 64% believed in God, and there was a correlation indicating that religious conviction diminished with education level.[96] Such an inverse correlation between religiosity and intelligence has been found by 39 studies carried out between 1927 and 2002, according to an article in Mensa Magazine

I believe in one god but he is radically different from the god in the bible. My god is forgiving and won't damn you to hell if you don't believe in him. He has been around long enough to understand other people's situations and only cares if you have a good heart. I do not believe Jesus is the son of God but his teachings should be remembered and shared along with him as a tribute to human heart. There is no Hell, there is only correction and understanding. If someone is evil, he will make them understand why they were evil and make them do good works to redeem themselves in an after life. My God does not have a great amount of influence on earth. He can only vagly comunicate with us. Otherwise how would he let things like Rowanda and The hollocost happen. Please don't try to convert me. I just want to know if there is anyone else out there with similiar faith.

In Islam, true Muslims are like one big family (metaphorically, not literally). What does this say to you? Does it say something you didn't know before?

'Islam and the Spirit of Religious Tolerance
As monotheism is the foundation of Islam, so tolerance is one of its most outstanding characteristics. Islam literally means both submission to Allah and peace. Religious tolerance has always been a necessary law of life which cannot be neglected except at great hazard to human society. Let me offer, my dear brothers and sisters, just a few examples of the spirit of tolerance which lies at the very heart of the Islamic faith.

First: Islam makes it absolutely clear that all humanity is but one great family. The origin of all people is one, as all human beings were created from a single soul. Allah says in the Holy Quran:

In order to be Muslim, one needs to accept Islam, say the Shahada in Arabic 3 times, and be cognizant of this choice to adhere to the tenets of said belief.

This is simple logic. Now, I wish to understand how some say that babies are born Muslim, and even animals and inaminate objects are Muslim. I ask this, because I have never seen another belief make such a claim. For instance, I've never heard a Buddhist or Wiccan, Christian or Jew, etc...say everyone was born________. Only Muslims.

Explain?

OKay, so this was the dream i had last night.

Me and my best friend were outdoors, learning about snakes. My friend and I were petting it [they were green snakes]. All of the sudden, the teacher comes out and told the whole class that if we pet the snake onemore time, then we would get an F in that class. Then for some reason, the whole classroom started running away.. i dont know why. Then when everyone was running [including me] we were at the outside of a church. And when i woke up, my heart started beating so fast. [i think its beacause i was actively running from my dream.]

I'm going to be giving my notice at the end of this week and want some ideas for the best way to do it. I have a hard time with confrontation especially because I feel like I will be letting my manager down. Should a written notice give an explanation? Or just the basics of when I will be leaving. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
