What does this weird dream mean?

OKay, so this was the dream i had last night.

Me and my best friend were outdoors, learning about snakes. My friend and I were petting it [they were green snakes]. All of the sudden, the teacher comes out and told the whole class that if we pet the snake onemore time, then we would get an F in that class. Then for some reason, the whole classroom started running away.. i dont know why. Then when everyone was running [including me] we were at the outside of a church. And when i woke up, my heart started beating so fast. [i think its beacause i was actively running from my dream.]

In standard dream interpretation, a snake is a male member. So you were petting it, and the teacher told you to stop. But the whole class ran away because the whole class does it, too. And the church is the place where the taboo against "petting the snake" originated.

I think you would need to find out what happened to cause the people to run away. But based on your dream and common symbolism the snake tends to be considered, in christianity, to be of evil origin and the church is considered sanctuary from evil. Your dream would suggest that you are playing and encouraging evil and that what you are doing is effecting those around you, not just yourself, with the only sanctuary and way to stop the evil is to do something with the church, something for the divine to come into your life and protect you and the people. This is of course just my idea of this and the actual meaning may be something totally differant, if the dream happens again you may find out more info, remember to write down everything as soon as you wake up and that when you wake up and write it all down that the room is dark with no bright lights anywhere, it has to do with how the mind remembers things if a light is on then the light wakes the mind up fully and you forget what happened. The dream seems to be detailing bad company and you should be careful. Perhaps it's your teacher or someone you dreamed being they want to give you an F. Is the whole class cheating or what is it the teacher wants you to stop. Just stop that which will give you an F.

The real question is, what does it mean to YOU? If you dream of some symbol that has some obscure meaning to someone somewhere, does the symbol mean what they think it means, or what you think it means?

But just a thought...I have wild dreams several nights a week sometimes. I've been hunted, killed, attacked by family...If I believed they all meant something, I'd be insane by now.

Dreaming snakes means you have alot of enemies even if you are not aware of them or not.
